Booking Hotel Crown Piast & Spa

Хороший отель на окраине Кракова. 10 минут пешком до станции поездов, откуда 7 минут до аэропорта. В номере была вода, чайник, чай и кофе. Рядом, через дорогу - Макдональдс.

The reception area is modernised however the rooms leave a lot to be desired. We paid extra for a junior suite, we got given two single beds pushed together, half ripped up carpet and a tablet that had been left on the floor. Luckily we didn’t travel with young children but heaven forbid we did and they had picked it up! Receptionist was rude on arrival also and couldn’t be bothered to do her job seemingly. Food was below par with no choice of dinner in the evening, was more of a get what your given and like it or lump it attitude. Good points- the gentleman at the bar was knowledgeable, lovely and seemed to actually want to help. The beds albeit 2 singles were comfortable.

Poor service, one card given and when asked if we could have two the receptionist seemed to consider our choice of room (Which was king) and said “not for this” Main issue we had which could seem insignificant but I deem it essential is the shower wash/shampoo. Between two of us we were given two tiny packets worth with barely a drop inside. I used both assuming I could simply go get more for my partner. I went down to speak to the receptionist and she said “ We don’t have anymore” Which I found it hard to believe as surely they would be unable to offer the future rooms to anyone else. So I explained we needed more but she shrugged it off, I said that’s not good and walked away. After explaining this to My girlfriend I decided to go try again thinking they could find some in another room not being used or forgotten stock. Which to my amazement led her to say “Someone will bring some up” So she either lied, couldn’t be bothered to find any or simply is told by management to deny customers extra when asked. This was my main issue with the hotel, spa wasn’t functional, breakfast was overpriced and basic. Room was ok size but the best thing for me was the window, nice design and opened fully on a hot day. I would rate this hotel 4/10 and it’s barely a 3* hotel nowhere near 5* standard as stated. I believe they received this rating back in early 2000s and have not done much to update decor since opening.

Firstly this hotel is falsely advertising! There is a dirty empty swimming pool that hasn't been used since last year by the looks of it. There is no spa, it's all shut up and loads of spare chairs stored in the side of it. This is definitely not a 5* hotel, when asking about a taxi, we were given a card. No offer to call for us, the staff on thre front desk look miserable and mostly uninterested in all aspects of their work. The whole place is very clean but very dated. We had breakfast here every morning for a week. The same every morning was on offer, the cheese edges were hard where it had been sat, the breakfast cake hard and stale. Coffee from the machine was lovely! The first room we were given was fine but the air conditioning was running with water, they moved us to another room, the air conditioning was blowing hot air out, maybe they might have checked it before our move? So we moved to another room, which was fine, this was over a course of 2 days being here. My friend who paid a lot of money moved rooms twice too as her toilet didn't flush. We felt so awful for her as she paid for us all to go away and feels embarrassed that the hotel is not as advertised and after spending so much money too. However ... if you like to eat breakfast quietly, you will love it as just the 3 of us had the breakfast room to ourselves every day , apart from 2 days when there was another couple sat there. The dining room is empty. I think anyone looking to book this hotel should know that all the amenities listed are false and you are being done out of money. Oh and the luxury complimentary toiletries , consist of 2 sachets of shower gel, hope you have a tiny body! 2 shower caps and a cotton pad and cotton bud in a seperate box and 2 small soaps. We will never come back to this hotel!

It was average / poor. If you want basic then it’s ok. The spa wasn’t open when I visited. When I arrived they gave me a key to a room already occupied, then 2 x keys that didn’t work. When I asked for a taxi to be booked they waited till that morning (On a seperate note get an Uber as the taxis are rip offs 4x the price of an Uber but as I had booked I felt I should use out of decency. Apart from that the room was ok, two double beds (I booked a king). The sheets were clean, facilities were clean. And location was ok as it was a 10minute walk from the train station.

Beautiful place, I really reccomend this hotel for everyone who wants to relax, nice, helphul staff. The room was clean and really nice, big comfortable bed. I would like to come back for sure. Logan

Stupid hotel. Wanted to book a stay in Krakow, booked it through *********** , and suddenly plans changed . We cancelled the stay in 10minutes long in advance before the stay, and been refused a whole night charge. So been charged a whole night stay, after cancelling in advance. The cancellation policy obviously wasn’t easy to find and to seek, send them caries emails, and received absolutely nothing. Would I recommend it, absolutely not, only dodgy hotels charge full amount for 0 service.

If I could rate this hotel a 0 I would no facilities open at all rooms dated, bar not stocked up and staff rude! Manager is incompetent and we’re now getting trading standards involved for false advertising as it’s not a 5 star spa hotel it’s a 1 star at the most. We were promised a refund which we didn’t get hence why we’re getting a third party involved don’t make the mistake of booking here! It’s terrible.

The hotel is located near the airport, close to public transport stops, which can quickly get to the center. The rooms are large and clean, the cleaning service is top notch. Very nice staff at the reception and delicious breakfasts.
