This is a very good resort offering clean nicely appointed studios, one or2 bedroom villas. We stayed in the studio. The rooms are clean, with simple tropical themed decor. The ac is excellent. Rooms were cleaned once during our week stay. There is a small kitchenette with enough equipment to make simple meals. Note everything is European size and style ( you are in the Netherlands). The bathroom is small, modern and has all you need. Soap and shampoo provided. The shower has abundant water flow and plenty of hot water. There are 2 towels per person, a hand towel and foot mat. No beach towels are provided. There is also an outdoor cold shower for each unit. The beds are comfortable, but only have one pillow per bed. There are sheets and a thin blanket ( you are in the tropics). There is a flat screen tv - we didn’t use it. There is WiFi, which is a bit slow. if you are trying to watch streaming services or upload video it is not adequate, but you can check your email, social media and access the internet adequately. The electric outlets are both US and Europe. There is a small magna pool on site. As we were diving and not looking for a resort this was fine for us. There is no onsite dining or bar. Other resorts with restaurants and bars are an easy 5 min walk. There is a supermarket 2 min walk away. The reception hours are limited to weekday mornings. Although luggage storage is theoretically available it is not practical due to limited reception hours. You will need a car for your stay, taxi services on the island are limited. If you are scuba diving you will need transport to boats/shore dives. This resort is a 5 min drive from the downtown. This is a very quiet resort - no bars or nightlife scene (which is why we picked it). There is an onsite dive shop and the house reef is a lovely little dive. Overall a very good resort for the price, ideal for divers who are self sufficient and not looking for extra amenities.
