Expected more but the only good thing of this hotel is its location. Service and amenities need major improvements compared to other Crown Plaza Hotel.

Location is great, staffs are friendly, room is dark and old, carpet is quite dusty, breakfast is so so.

On 30 Apr, I was locked outside the balcony!!!! Fortunately, I had my mobile phone ! Otherwise I would be locked outside the room and spend to stay under the moon the entire night. What did the hotel manager do about it when I informed her ? Nothing at all. Because nobody had approached me to offer a consolation greeting. I cannot imagine this happening to another customer. The door has to be changed with immediate effect.

The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

Stayed here multiple times. Will keep coming back.

The hotel itself is fine and were located near a food street which is insaleny good and nice. The problem with the hotel is that its quite old, outdated, moldy, it's not expensive but if I knew for the price I would pick another hotel. There is nothing crown Plaza about this hotel consider it a normal 3-3.5 star old hotel. I didn't eat the breakfast nor ate at the facilities so will no comment on that. Staff were nice service was fine.

Location is good. Free car park is well appreciated. Temperature is room is too hot even when air conditioning is was off and balcony door open all through the night! Probably building central heating was too hot! Other than that, everything was good and staff service attitude excellent!

We were passing through Kunming on our way to other places in Yunnan. This was a fine, corporate hotel for a one night stay. It's centrally located, had a clean enough room, was comfortable, and we slept well. Honestly, we don't remember much about our experience there as we stayed at about six hotels after this one. It was the least memorable of the hotels we stayed at however I think this is the hotel's strength: a big, known quantity that has rooms that you could easily imagine if you closed your eyes and thought about it. One thing: the building was a bit old and it seemed every so slightly run down, but still, it was good for what it was.

The hotel is very near to 南屏步行街 and昆明老街, also near to their shopping area, subway is only a 5 min walk is a plus to the hotel. The breakfast is very good and the service is great too. The only down side is there is no central heater system when we stay in, will feel cold in the room if in winter period. If you are looking for a hotel with great location and breakfast, you can consider it.

The location of this hotel is excellent - only a few minutes on foot from exit H of Tangzixiang metro station and less than 10 minutes walking from Nanping pedestrian street boasting excellent street food (until late at night) and an abundance of stores, malls, and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel staff were kind and helpful. I did not eat at this hotel, or use its other facilities. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Hotel is walkable distance to subway and the old town/ pedestrian streets. The room has a small balcony. Check-in was quick and fuss-free. Hotel itself is a bit old. Mini-bar is chargeable, toilet bowl isn't self heating (many budget inns already have this feature!). Breakfast has a good spread but terrible in taste.
