The location was remote, and I had to get a taxi to bhuj. You can not walk. There isn't anything around the hotel. Staff were not well trained at all. We had issues from check in, Neha did not follow the process and tried charging us an extra 70,000 rupees as we booked 2 rooms. Although the total price for the 2 rooms was 85,000. She forgot to take a picture of one of our visas and that came to the hotel staffs attention 3 days later and decided to ask us for it when we were tired and came back late one evening. She did not show or even tell us about any of the facilities. Shame as we dined out rather than trying the hotel restaurants. Check-in took over half an hour! It was not ideal when we travelled over 8 hours to get there. The shower seal was also broken in room, causing water to leak out when showering. On a few occasions, we called them to remove clean the bathroom. We didn't have any shower gel in the room the day we arrived, I mean, we were tired! We had the same issue a few days later. They do not provide the essentials for 2 people, although they admitted that 2 people stay in a room. So we had to request toothpaste and toothbrush etc. One of the rooms had a bottle and the same food under the bed. We checked in after 8 p.m., so there certainly is no rush for the room. So why wasn't it cleaned. Then they tried to change the room. However, someone had been smoking in the room, so we refused. The hotel was empty, so I'm not sure why they couldn't have just upgraded us! It's literally empty as it's quite expensive. Again, Neha, in check-in, couldn't see our special request for a room upgrade for an anniversary. She later found it but was very incompetent. The linen had stains on it. The dodgy box off the TV was hanging down, and it kept going off. Apparently, they don't keep it on and live - the reason being is because they don't want to pay if the hotel is empty. So every time we wanted to watch TV we had to call them to come to our room. WiFi kept going off. This was causing a lot of issues as my parents could not contact us. We had to re connect it. Quite annoying. We decided to try the restaurant a few times. How disappointing. They don't have most of the things in the menu as the hotel was empty and people hardly ate there. We simply asked for samosa chaat! Kishor was very hospitable and really tried to make things better. But unfortunately, there were way too many issues. The gym facilities were poor. We didn't use this once or the pool. Although the pool looked beautiful. We spoke to Manesh, the general manager, about our issues. Thank you for listening. Lastly, on checkout, we had some extras on our bill, which they removed. I later settled in cash, but they had no change and asked me if it's ok not to pay me!!!!!! This is a total joke and was the icing on the cake. Would we return or recommend. No!
