Highly Recommended Stay in Kyoto I would like to strongly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kyoto. The staff demonstrate exceptional professionalism and hospitality. In particular, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Miss Yuki, who assisted us with our check-in and kindly introduced many wonderful sightseeing spots and activities in Kyoto, as well as to Miss Tsai, a ********* staff member who supported us during check-out with great warmth and care. Their thoughtful service truly reflects the welcoming spirit of Kyoto and the hotel’s commitment to excellence. I am genuinely impressed by the quality of the team members who bring guests happiness and satisfaction through their dedication. They truly deserve recognition and applause for their outstanding service. Our two-night stay was far too short, and we are already looking forward to returning in the near future.

Tive uma estadia muito agradável na Wind Villa! O proprietário administra pessoalmente o negócio e cuida de cada detalhe para tornar a estadia em sua pousada uma experiência inesquecível! Me senti acolhido desde o primeiro momento em que entrei na pousada, pois pude fazer o check-in antes do horário oficial, sem custos adicionais. A cozinha é totalmente equipada, há máquina de lavar e secar roupa, uma sala de estar para comer, trabalhar, socializar, relaxar… Também adorei a cadeira de massagem, que era gratuita! Gostei muito da conversa com o Ace (o proprietário) sobre a cultura japonesa e sobre suas experiências únicas de viagem! Com certeza adoraria voltar à sua pousada! Obrigado pela ótima experiência!

Dear Sir/Madam, I recently had the opportunity to stay at your hotel, and I would like to share my experience with you. First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional design and comfort your property offers. Kengo Kuma’s architectural brilliance, with its use of natural wood, thoughtful lighting, and integration of art pieces, creates a stunning and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the materials, the size of the beds, and the premium linens were truly impressive. In terms of design and comfort, your hotel sets a remarkable standard. However, I did encounter several service-related issues that I believe could be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience. I would like to share these points in the hope that they are helpful for future improvements: 1. Breakfast Lounge and Sushi Area: The proximity of these two areas creates a strong odor upon entering, which can be unpleasant. Improved ventilation could easily mitigate this issue. 2. Food and Beverage Service After Breakfast: The lack of food and beverage service after breakfast hours was inconvenient. At the very least, providing a space for guests to enjoy tea or coffee would be a welcome addition. 3. Room Service Availability: After a long journey, I was surprised to learn that room service was unavailable and that only rice balls could be provided. Expanding room service options would greatly improve the guest experience. 4. Flexibility with Breakfast Hours: Due to the time difference, I arrived slightly late for breakfast at 10:10 AM and was informed that nothing could be served. Even my request for tea did not receive a clear response. Greater flexibility in accommodating guests dealing with jet lag would be highly appreciated. 5. Lobby Services: The inability to offer anything to drink or even host a guest in the lobby felt restrictive. This could be improved to make the lobby a more welcoming space. 6. Spa Experience: I was unable to experience the renowned Banyan Tree spa as it was fully booked. Expanding spa reservation availability would help meet guest expectations for this signature offering. In summary, while the hotel excels in design and comfort, the service offerings seem to be constrained by rigid rules and limited hours, which can detract from the overall guest experience. I strongly believe that adopting a more flexible, guest-centered approach would significantly enhance satisfaction. If the above issues were addressed, I would certainly consider staying at your hotel again during my next visit to Kyoto. Nossa estadia no Tokyu Stay Sanjo Karasuma foi boa. Havia uma máquina de lavar no quarto que nos ajudou a lavar e secar nossas roupas. No entanto, arrumar o quarto requer um custo adicional e deixamos isso de fora. Só esvaziamos as lixeiras e trocamos as toalhas. O quarto era pequeno, mas bastante adequado para nosso uso. A localização é em uma parte tranquila de Sanjo Karasuma, mas não faltaram restaurantes/lanchonete e a estação de trem era conveniente.

Os hotéis japoneses mantêm um estilo consistente e são limpos, por mais pequenos que sejam, há uma banheira para mergulhar. A pressão da água é suficiente. Só organizei por um dia. Mudei de quarto porque tinha um quarto com cama de casal. Estava perto da estrada e havia motos à noite e carros pela manhã. Como o vidro da janela é relativamente fino, ele fica muito perturbado. O conforto da roupa de cama é mediano, mas o preço está aqui Serviço chinês suave na recepção

Clean and big room for family stay. There is shuttle bus to nearer railway station. Provide a nice mineral water , nice coffee and good breakfast.

Originalmente, eu queria ir de Himeji para Amanohashidate, mas não esperava retornar a Kyoto por causa da tempestade de neve e da ferrovia estar suspensa. Mas uma bênção disfarçada? Não esperava que o hotel em que fiquei em Quioto desta vez fosse tão rentável, apenas 300 yuan. Embora a localização deste hotel não seja muito boa, leva cerca de quinze minutos a pé para JR, mas não é muito longe para caminhar até o Mercado Nishiki e outros lugares. O lobby não é grande, mas os quartos parecem maiores, e você pode sentir isso quando olha para a porta. Há também uma grande sala de banho no último andar, bem como uma sala de fitness (mas isso exige uma taxa). A grande área de banho é bem utilizada e não há muitas pessoas. Este preço também inclui café da manhã, a seleção do café da manhã é boa e o preço dos extras é de grande valor.

I stayed here in a double room and overall had a pretty good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and both the air conditioning and heater worked very well. One thing that really stood out was the bathroom — the bathtub was much larger than what you usually get in Japan. I’m a tall person, and I could actually sit down and lie back comfortably, which is rare. Most hotel baths feel very small, but this one felt closer to around 1.4m in length, which made having a bath genuinely enjoyable. The bed was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job — the bed was made every day with fresh sheets. Wi-Fi was also very fast, which was a big plus. Amenities were decent, and you can pick up extra items if you need them. Check-in is a bit late at 3pm, which I didn’t love, but that’s balanced out by an 11am checkout. Having that extra time in the morning made it feel worth it overall. I did have a couple of negatives. The strangest one was finding an old sock behind the TV when I arrived. It was very obvious and not hidden, so I’m not sure how it was missed during cleaning. It was a bit gross, but I just left it. Another downside was the mini fridge — it’s more like a cooler than a real fridge. It keeps drinks from getting warm, but they don’t get properly cold. In summer, this really wouldn’t be good enough. Replacing it with a proper mini fridge would be a big upgrade. The other major issue was the lift. It is painfully slow, and there’s only one lift for the upper floors. On checkout day, I left my room about 10 minutes before checkout time, and I almost didn’t make it downstairs in time because of how slow it was. That part was honestly pretty ridiculous. Location-wise, this hotel is excellent. It’s very easy to get to from Kyoto Station — just head south and you’re there in about 4–5 minutes. It’s also very convenient when leaving Kyoto by train. A tip for using the subway: instead of going back to Kyoto Station, walk right from the hotel to Shijō Station. It’s on the same subway line, you’ll get on before Kyoto Station, and the train is empty — so you’re almost guaranteed a seat and can ride comfortably to your destinations. For food and shopping, there’s a shopping mall just across the road toward the station with a Don Quijote, McDonald’s, and other options. The hotel is also right next to a Coco Ichibanya curry house, which is fantastic and open late. Overall, despite a few odd issues, this was a solid stay with a great location, good comfort, and very easy access to transport. I’d happily consider staying here again.
