Hotel located in average location. Room very basic when sofa open no space to go to bathroom. Corridor very dirty and smelly. Room hygiene below expectation . Breakfast average .

Personnel très agréable.Dans l’ensemble satisfait mérite un bon coup de jeune et une bonne rénovation un volet roulant ne marchait pas et la réception de la tv quasi inexistante.Très bonne situation géographique toute commodité port aquarium cinéma restaurant à pied..

C’est un bon hôtel, il est bien situé, à proximité de la gare et de l’aquarium, c’était un agréable séjour.

Seul bémol, la piscine était sale. Sinon, appartement grand et confortable. Très proche du port

The hotel is well positioned slightly outside the old town and for the price was quite functional and clean . Don't expect a hearty warm welcome as I previously stated it's all about functionality over charm ! Don't ever book this hotel through ***********. It turned out to be a nightmare for me. Due to Air Traffic Control strike I altered my flights ( by 2 days) so needed a room in La Rochelle for one night. To expedite the whole process I decided to use ***********. Big mistake. My booking appeared to go through the system and I received a a message to that effect but no confirmation from *********** for 2 days. I had to ring the hotel and e mail their service agents to find out what was going on. Additionally I sent around 10 messages to *********** to ask if this room had been booked or not. On every occasion I received a message asking me to confirm the pin and confirmation code neither of which I received. Booking com were unable to answer the simple question Is the hotel booked ? Answer. Yes or No. I would use this hotel again but absolutely not through *********** who totally ignored my every request by phone or e mail to confirm the booking , leaving me the job of chasing up my credit card company and the hotel over a day period. That was not my job.

Disappointing. Read the write up and thought it would be a nice spa hotel...nope more like a hostel with a steam room(which was closed) and a. school type swimming pool which is dated and nothing like the photos. We've spent 3 weeks travelling Spain and France and this was our last place and our least favourite of the whole trip. Positives- friendly staff on arrival, underground parking (worth paying. for as roads nearby are full of cars), room is clean and has a cute kitchenette so we could cook a meal after a very long drive. It's a basic hotel and worth a stop over but wouldn't stay again - sorry

This accommodation offers very good value for money. Our apartment was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The bathroom was large , and there was a small but well equipped kitchen area. The location is easy walking distance of the harbour and main attractions. It was ideal for our short stopover
