Upon driving into the parking lot, it appeared the hotel was out of business because all the lights outside were off—the parking lot was very dark. Upon checking in, the associate was welcoming. We were assigned a room on the second floor. When we entered the room smelled muggy and humid—like it hadn’t been opened/used in a while. The bedsheets were clean. The bathroom, had the walk of tiles coming off the wall, and the door was larger than the frame and unable to close at all. Upon requesting a new room, we were given the room right above the one we had just left. This room also smelled humid but a bit better than the other. The bedsheets were also clean. The bathroom door was also unable to close at all; the sink did not drain properly and there were rust marks in the tub and mildew by the tub handle. The hand towel holder next to the sink fell off the wall while using the sink! Overall, this was an unpleasant stay, and given the condition of the hotel not worth $200 a night or even a free stay! We have stayed on many others Fairfields and this one is by far the worst one. It is a disgrace to offer rooms in this condition to guests. I cannot comment on the quality of the breakfast since I will not remain here long enough to even try it given the poor maintenance of this hotel.
