Building with a fancy name. There is no Bay, Sea, River or Ocean view. Booked several rooms at the hotel and there was no form of complimentary given considering cost incurred but instead was charged additional for request made (warming up food). Hotel claimed there is WiFi. There was WiFi that lasted 24 hours. Rooms were equipped with a boiling kettle and one tea cup and saucer. No tea, milk or sugar. Cup of tea charged @ #1500 Naira. At some point we requested to change rooms. Room changed to was worse that the initial room booked. More like a fantabulous downgrade. 26th October 2024. Requested breakfast at 9am and did not receive until 10:55 following a third phone call where I asked if I should come and pick up breakfast myself. On the 27th of October, called for breakfast @ 10:41 and was told breakfast has closed and it's closes at 10am. Had a number of items missing from the room. Had my towel missing from the bathroom. Staff at the reception were quite pleasant but poor service from management. Considering the length of time spent there was no form of incentive given. Depending on the size of food container, there was a charge for warming up food. Everytime we requested a change of room, there is always a fault with room moved to. Either shower does not work or chiller does not cool or intercom does not work. This was the worst hotel I have ever lodged in. From information gathered, it's meant to be a new hotel but with level of service and atmosphere looks like location from the 18th century. Prior to arrival, there was a charge for us to take pictures (#75,000). Has been a pleasure visiting this hotel but it's definitely not an environment i would like to return to.
