The Farmhouse Hotel

It would be helpful if care could be given and instituted to lower noise levels at night. It is extremely noisy during the night even after 00:00 and not acceptable if staying over for business.

We had a wonderful stay. Our room spacious and had a great view of the lagoon as well as the pool. The bonus was the kol-kol hot tub on the patio. The restaurant food and service were fantastic. All the staff that we encountered were really friendly and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this friendly hotel. Beautiful lagoon views, delicious breakfasts on the stoep, and special touches like tea & scones in the afternoon.

From arrival to departure, we had the most amazing stay, I brought my Chihuahua with me, and she also lived her best life! Great staff, fantastic food, we had breakfast & dinner at the hotel. The room was great and spacious with the lagoon view.

This hotel is Beautiful, quint and peaceful with mesmerizing views. Staff are friendly and helpful and their attention to detail is impeccable. The hotel is small and private and has a vintage look and feel which we loved as bigger crowds and hotels are not for us. We will most definitely return.

What a lovely place for a quick getaway! Very comfortable and walking distance from shops, restaurants and the beach.

Spent the long weekend at The Farmhouse Hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is stunning. On site privately owned restaurant was cosy & beautifully decorated, served lovely food & the owners were always there to make sure things ran smoothly which added to the personal touch. This unfortunately contrasted how outdated and tired the hotel, its furnishings and decor was. There was also very little atmosphere in the hotel itself. It was a very cold and wet weekend but only one small fire place was burning in the bar, with nothing lit in the lounge area. The complimentary afternoon scones and tea was a very nice touch. We stayed in one of the rooms situated above the hotel reception, restaurant etc and found the sound proofing insufficient. We could clearly hear the neighbour’s conversations as well as noise from downstairs - kids playing the piano, music and muffled conversations. If possible rather get one of the rooms not attached to the main building. We had a spa treatment and although it was a small space with one therapist, we found her and the treatment to be great. Only down side there was due to insufficient sound proofing again you could hear the people in their room next door.
