Bon Accord Farm Cottages

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. Perfectly located on a beautiful working farm. We loved the picturesque mountain and farm views, the birdlife, the quietness and being able to walk through the orchards and vineyards. The cottage was very well appointed, having everything we needed during your stay, as well as being immaculately neat and clean. The beds as well as the couches were very comfortable. Our host, Elsje was super efficient and friendly. We highly recommend a stay at Bon Accord.

Bon Accord is a charming cottage with everything you need and neat as a pin. Spectacular views right on your stoep, cozy fireplace for chilly nights. Lovely trails to walk and enjoy the farm and nature. We will definitely be back!

The Langeberg mountains were the backdrop to this lovely stay on a working fruit farm,Elsje was an exceptional host,constantly checking if we were okay,advising us on the roads,even offering to do our laundry

We had a lovely stay at Bon Accord Farm. We only stayed for one night on or way around the Garden Route but could have easily stayed longer as Montague is a nice town close to the farm and there is plenty to do in the area. A lovely relaxing place to stay.

Excellent accommodation, which is well priced and well equipped. We will definitely use again in the future. We can recommend without any doubt. Very quiet and peaceful location. Very good view and the owners are very host full.

This is by far the best self-catering accommodation I've ever seen! Every need had been anticipated and provided for and the cottage was beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable. We stayed in Cottage #2 and my son loved his en-suite bathroom! The kitchen is equipped with everything (and more) you could want or need and the full DSTV bouquet saw us watching a LOT of World Cup Rugby, so thanks for THAT!! The photos of the views online do NOT do them justice at all and the braai on the patio outside was well used. Unfortunately we had awful, rainy weather the weekend we stayed, but it was still a lovely trip and we're planning to go back to explore the farm (we could walk anywhere we'd wanted, but it was raining too much) and the hiking trails nearby. We were provided with complimentary muscadel for which the region is known. A lovely, very welcome touch upon our arrival on a cold day! The main bathroom has an electric heater over the bath, so soaking in the tub on a cold night is just so luxe! It was really nice! The water pressure is fantastic and there was plenty of hot water for all of us to bath / shower. We made good use of the DISHWASHER, which prevented us from spending precious relaxation time doing dishes. We would have made use of the washing machine too, had the weather been good for drying our clothes. More than enough washing liquid, dishwasher tablets and cleaning materials were supplied.

Away from the city life, very peaceful and quiet with amazing scenery. We travelled in the middle of winter and made full use of the fireplace to keep warm, we will definitely be returning in the summer.

Amazing stay. Beautiful views. Very private. Great amenities around. Ideal for couples, or just if you need a great space to work on project. Very big patio to spend time and do braai. I also like the fire place in the living room.
