Best Western Plus Milford Hotel

The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere, and when I stayed they weren’t serving food. This meant a bit of a trek to find somewhere to eat. The hotel itself was ok, clean and comfortable within any frills. There was a shortage of staff, with one fella working both reception and the bar, but I must say he was very helpful and professional. Good value for money and would stay there again

No opening windows and aircon was not working so the room was like a sauna! Also no grass area for dogs to toilet and right on the side of a dual carriageway - do not recommend if you have dogs with you

Was really comfy beds shower was good had coffe and tea also.

Our stay here was very good. The hotel was modern and clean with good facilities. Our room was lovely, comfortable beds, and a lovely shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant, which again, was very good and inexpensive. I would definitively recommend this hotel.

Situated in what appears to be a scrap yard. I walked into reception and it stank of cigarettes. This could have been from someone who had just been smoking outside so gave it the benefit of doubt. Reception staff great. Room ok but needs updating. No heating as i couldn't increase the temperature on the wall control. Bathroom seemed to be recently renovated. View from windows of old metal containers and a few old caravans. Didn't chance eating there so cant comment on the food. Had an ok sleep. Woke up with a sore throat and a distinct smell of stale cigarettes though, which i didn't detect the night before. Skipped breakfast. Not worth the £100 i paid for the night. (taxi driver from the night before mentioned that the hotel was let out to immigrants at some point but cant comment on the validity of that) I wouldn't ever stay here again.

I was on my way home and just needed somewhere close to the A1. I was pleasantly surprised by the good size room, comfy bed and spotless bathroom. I’d had a difficult journey and the staff were lovely, helping me to relax. The receptionist found me a nicer room than my original booking and the barman had a nice chilled glass of rosé for me.

We had a pleasant stay on our way home from Scotland. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and bright and very clean. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so had a pizza delivery. Very reasonable rates. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

When we pulled into the car park we thought we had made a grave mistake as the frontage of the hotel looked unloved and untidy. Once in the hotel it was apparent that a refurb was in progress and it looked clean and tidy. There was no dinner available but we went into nearby Leeds and had plenty of choice. Breakfast was good and we found staff friendly and helpful. It was incredibly good value and a good overnight stop.

Pillows are too bulky and had to take 1 off bed. The was apparently 2 Coolair systems to the rooms/hotel and both not working. Had to speak with reception to get something sorted and still did not resolve problem. Windows had a covering over to make them unable to open. Was told they had complained to management to get windows to open with a lock on them but building is only ground and one floor high so don't understand the problem. Was helped with the air in the room by staff by being given a fan by staff member.
