I normally love staying in a Premier Inn and feel they have improved over the years, but this experience did change things for me and my family. The rooms were dated, the toilets did not flush even after an engineer was called, the corridors were filthy, there was a damp smell in the hotel and rooms, they ran out of toilet roll. The only upside is that the beds were comfortable and they were spacious rooms. The majority of the staff were friendly, kind, polite and attentive. The key cards stopped working so many times over the 3 days we stayed and there was never anyone in Reception. The front car park is small and if you don't find a space in the front, then you have along walk all the way round the back of the hotel, where you can't enter the hotel, so you end up walking all the way to the front. It wasn't ideal. Not the best experience and I will not be returning to this hotel
