Hotel Ristorante le Palme

Firstly, the location is incredible. The diners are treated to a stunning view across Limone ..and over the waters is the impressive Malcesine. Secondly, the staff are excellent... special praise is due to the long-serving employees, Agnese and Benna. They interact superbly with the guests and each have a terrific sense of humour. Breakfasts are good and the scrambled eggs are particularly enjoyable. Thanks chef! However, several factors point to this unique hotel being realistically a three out of five. The rooms, though clean, are dated and desperately in need of renovating (especially the drab curtains). Furthermore, one RIDICULOUS change that has emerged is the lack of a reception. We were very disappointed to be instructed by Federica (the Inghams rep) to check in (and out) of the nearby Hotel Splendid and then be taken in a buggy to Le Palme. This is a fault of the system, no blame can be attached to the enthusiastic Federica! This is totally unacceptable because when we requested a towel, I phoned reception...which was in the Hotel Splendid. Consequently, the towel arrived quite some time later. Some poor member of staff in Hotel Splendid had to grab a towel and hotfoot it to our hotel. Le Palme/Inghams...THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE GUESTS AND THE OVERWORKED STAFF! That said, this hotel has a certain charm and that's why guests put up with the aforementioned minor issues. But we need a receptionist once again!

The worst experience ever. Staff unfriendly. Different information from staff… we are traveling all around the world - never going here again. Every single day another surprise. With price, swimming pool… we never had that kind of experience in 10 years no where abroad. Whenever I politly asked who is a manager no one knows. I never had that kind of experience in my life.

We have previously visited Limone Sul Garda in 2019, where we stayed at another hotel in town. We quickly realized back then, that Le Palme was the place to stay in Limone. Le Palme is a beautiful hotel, in true Italian style. The rooms are big and cozy, and the bathroom facilities are good. The hotel hosts live music a few times a week, from 19-22pm. Enjoy the music with a cocktail or a beer in your hand, and enjoy the panorama view of Lago di Garda on their cozy terrace. The terrace is placed on top of the lake, so you’re guaranteed lake view no matter where you’re seated. Le Palme is located right at the citycenter, beside the ferry dock, where you can take ferry’s all over Lago di garda. If you chose to book a room with lake view you will not be disappointed! Location 10/10. Highly professional staff - very observant and deliver fast service. All staff are very kind and helpful. Service 10/10. We chose to eat dinner at Le Palme most nights. The food is delicious. If you want the true taste of Italy this is a great place to enjoy a meal. Whether it is fish, pasta or pizza. Food 10/10. The hotel is very pretty, and clean. Cleaning staff is thorough, and the rooms are always perfectly clean after housekeeping. They change your bedsheets and towels every day, if you put the “please clean my room” sign on your door. Housekeeping 10/10. We travel a lot, and have visited lots of hotels all over the world, and Le Palme is one of the best we have been to. Note: there is no receptionist at Le Palme. Check in and check out is at Splendid Palace. You will be picked up from Splendid Palace and have private transfer to Le Palme. We could have used a receptionist at the hotel, but you can call the reception at Splendid Palace from the telephone in your room. We are in love with this place. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The air conditioner didn't cool the room, which was really hot. The reply from the management was that the room is big and since it is warm outside the AC can not cool it effectively. No other hotel where we've stayed during this vacation has had this problem, even when the temperature was higher. They did not have available rooms in the same category, so their offer was to let us pay for the upgrade to another room or accept a fan. Totally unacceptable. Also, the wifi hasn't worked well.

Worst pizza ever. How an Italian can make a tasteless pizza is beyond me but Le Palme pizzeria outdid itself. Tinned tomatoes, no flavour, nasty processed ham, possibly even tinned mushrooms. Shockingly bad food, rude waiter, ridiculous prices- will not be going back. Shame because the hotel is lovely

A lovely hotel in the middle of Limone, beside the lake. Nice old style property that is well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are serviced on z daily basis, plus the AC works well . Good strong shower and restaurant setting is lovely. Overall good value for money. Quaint hotel in a great location. Worth a visit.
