Pros Not too bad a location, can get a little uncomfortable at night for solo travellers while heading back as there are few people loitering around. Smart rooms, control panel control the lights and the signs for the door. Compact room but it's cosy for one. Cons (scary encounter) Someone rang my doorbell and tried to force open the room door in the middle of the night. Luckily i locked it from the inside and door couldn't be opened. It happened twice within the same night. There was no room phone so i had to call the hotel from my own mobile, and feeling puzzled, 2 staff came up to my room to clarify. They then told me a drunk 'guest' was 'assisted' to come up the hotel rooms, but she had actually went to the wrong hotel. Weird explanation, because firstly, a room key is needed to access the lift. Secondly, if the person who assisted the drunk guest is a hotel staff who owns a master key since he's able to access the lift, he should've verify her identity prior to allowing the guest up the rooms premises. Its a safety concern. What if I did not lock the room door from the inside? The drunk guest could have just barged in and i as a female, was staying alone. Lastly, there was no kettle, only 2 bottles of water.

Perfect place to stay one night but not more. The room is well designed with useful features but as I mentioned it's very claustrophobic and for a long time can be depressing.

Very well placed, close to sub, restaurants. Bed was comfortable, room big enough for a 3 night stay. Complimentary coffee was a nice touch, helping you to start your day. Very smooth checkin process, done in under 2 min. Cleaning could have been better, but nothing to complain about.

Lovely attentive staff, room was everything we needed for our one night in London. Stones throw from all of the restaurants. Spitalfields is less than a 5 minute walk. Will be back at some point as exactly what we wanted and expected. Very quiet considering its location on a very busy road.

This Hub is in a great location with a super friendly team who are always on hand to help. Rooms are clean with everything we needed for a short stay, and brilliant value for the London location. We had late night pizza which was hot and fresh, and the 24-hour availability of hot drinks from the machine in the restaurant/bar is great. We didn’t have breakfast this time as Spitalfields Market is a 5 minute walk away and we felt like a lazy morning. The previous stay’s breakfast was excellent quality and value. We will be back!

I was in room 418 and the air conditioning unit sounded like water was dripping constantly from it and kept making a start up noise all night, even when switched off, so I got no sleep. I went to reception at 1:10am and they said there was nothing they could do and I could get a refund on the room when checking out. When I checked out the manager would only refund 50%. Terrible hotel, terrible service and terrible aftercare. Was just fobbed off in the middle of the night to avoid a scene when despite the time of the morning there were people checking into rooms.

I absolutely hate leaving a bad review and I really don't go out my way to leave negative ones however in this instance I feel I have to. I arrived at Hub late at night due to train delays. On arrival I was really impressed with the hotel, how clean it was and the staff were so welcoming. However the next morning was just not really acceptable. I woke up in the morning and went to use the bathroom and slipped on the floor as the tap/sink had been leaking throughout the night then flooded the bathroom floor by the morning. As I was getting ready to meet my team for breakfast someone knocked the door and let themselves in as they were doing so. It was contractors coming to fix the sink issue. I hadn't told reception at that point so it was obviously a known issue so I don't know why someone was put in that room to start with. The contractors weren't wearing obvious work clothes and didn't give any ID to show who they were. However they did apologise, said they had been told no one was in this room and that they would come back after I had left. I went to meet the team downstairs for breakfast which wasn't that great. There was no juice available from the dispensers, only some toast, condiments and some chocolate croissants. Definitely not worth the money paid but it was ok. When I went back to my room to get my things the hotel contractors were back in my room with all my stuff laying out. I really don't think this was appropriate at all. They then left again while I was collecting my things however they shouldn't have been in my room in the first place without my knowledge. When I went to reception to check out I let the staff know and to be fair they were apologetic but blamed the contractors as they said they did know someone was in the room. Either way there didn't seem to be an appreciation for the issue and I left it at that. All in all absolutely poor experience. Otherwise everything was good.

A/C unit too noisy otherwise it would have been a perfect night. Very clean, modern and staff very friendly.
