This resort is the epitome of luxury! From the check-in desk to the rooms, to the restaurants and especially the service. Solaz made it apparent that they delight in the satisfaction of their guests. The lead-in guest room is sufficient enough. Ask for a room closer to the Musuem, it gives great water views and a shorter walk to the restaurants and beach. The rooms were gorgeous and spotless. Cartons of water are complimentary but everything else in the mini bar is for a fee. Didn't happen but I could see how the water from the shower could spill out from the mirrored glass shower door. And there is a wall divider from the bedroom to bathroom but it was unnoticeable until the last day. The restaurants were good, some with limited items on the menu. If you don't have an open palette, this isn't the place for you. The best restaurant was Riccio Di Mare for pasta and desserts. And Cascabel for breakfast. Pay the price to get the breakfast buffet and get the made to order quesadillas (looked like tacos and were delicious). Portions at some restaurants were small like when ordering by the pool but to be expected. Visit the museum if you can, it's quite nice. And journey over to the Solaz Club side to take a look. The spa is quite expensive but they have some unique services. The best part of the resort-the enormous oceanfront infinity pool that extends in sections from one side of the resort to the other. And if you walk on the beach, there's a resort bar truck to order drinks and a Moet Lounge area, possibly the lounge is for club members.
