We had THE BEST weekend at the Residence Inn Louisville East/Oxmoor! The staff was great, super friendly and very accomodating! Big thank you to Brittany and Danielle for being so sweet, courteous, and able to answer all of our questions! The room we stayed in was a two bedroom/two bathroom suite, and it was fantastic! It had a full kitchen, a pull out couch, and the beds were so comfortable! Everyone loved the warm pool, and the fire pit was the perfect unwind after all the fun at the pool! The breakfast was delish, and the kids enjoyed exploring the large lobby/breakfast area. The adults and kids in our group all had a blast! It was the perfect hotel for a quick weekend getaway, but would also be very comfortable for a longer stay, and we will definiyely be returning! I highly recommend this hotel!

Our room was perfect with a full kitchen and a big modern shower! The AC went out in our room so it got pretty toasty in there, but the staff was highly accommodating and helpful! Their customer service was above and beyond what we expected! Even though they weren't able to fix the AC while we were there for the stay, they refunded us fully for the inconvenience. They were very helpful and apologetic for the hassle. Highly recommend this hotel for the full kitchen and great staff!

We loved this hotel. Maybe the best Residence Inn we have stayed in. Excellent guest facilities and nice, friendly staff. We loved Victor, the breakfast room attendant. Such a nice, friendly guy. Marriott should use him as a role model for other employees in that same position.

Spent a very rainy weekend in Louisville, but the entire staff, especially the Front Desk, had amazing “sunshiney” personalities that made you forget about the rain! The Breakfast Staff was so accommodating, continually cleaning and replenishing all items. Our room was perfect and spotless! I’d say this hotel is the perfect place to stay on your next visit to Louisville! And very convenient to everything we needed! Thank you to ALL!

There is a great reason this is the highest rated hotel in Louisville on TripAdvisor, they fully deserve it! Every aspect of this property is outstanding: friendliness, cleanliness, safe area, location/nearby things to do. When you stay there you will quickly see why, this property does not have a hotel staff, it is more like a family that CARES tremendously for each other AND its guests. The property is a few years old but looks new because the team there takes incredibly good care of the facility because they CARE, which I believe trickles down also to the guests respect and behavior. Marriott needs to do a case study on this property’s soul which is its outstanding team bottom to top and apply it everywhere!

We have stayed at this Residence Inn several times during the past year and found it an excellent hotel. In June on check in, the supervisor Brittany Ebrecht was sensitive to the fact that several high school basketball teams were staying at the hotel at the same time, about which we were unaware. She made sure that we stayed on a floor away from them in case there was a noise issue (there wasn't but I appreciated the anticipation and preemptive action). On the first night of a subsequent and recent 2 day stay, an odor from recent painting was noted in the room about which I complained. Brittany Ebrecht immediately understood my concern and promptly switched our room with appropriate apologies for the inconvenience. It is great to know that Brittany is sensitive and accommodating to the needs of the customers. It is because of her genuine interest in her hotel guests that we have made reservations for another stay in August.

What a nice and comfortable property! Everything was satisfactory - the cleanliness, the comfortable bed, the room and bathroom, the very affable and helpful staff. delicious coffee in the morning as well as a sumptuous breakfast. If I travel again to Louisville, I’ll plan to stay here again!

This used to be a once GREAT hotel. Sadly, something has changed. First and foremost, there is a serious lack of presence at the front desk. Rarely is there anyone standing up there waiting to serve the guests. They are most often behind the closed door. Why? This leaves guests feeling unwelcome and unimportant. Second, cleaning is not what it used to be. Hallways were not vacuumed during our entire 5 day stay. Garbage cans in the hallways were overflowing daily. Elevators were not mopped. Third, housekeeping is nonexistent. If I'm going to service my own room with the towels hung on more door.... I feel like I should get something in return- perhaps points added to my account. On the plus side, rooms are spacious, and beds are comfortable. Breakfast was good and the evening dinner was a nice surprise. The gentleman in charge of both of these was a true gem!

Recently stayed here for 2 nights in a King studio for a business trip. The location is very convenient even though I was working near the airport. It is located near many restaurants and grocery stores and I thought easy driving distance to downtown as well. The hotel is very new so everything was clean and in excellent condition. I loved to walk in shower and the kitchen was well stocked. The bed was super comfortable and the halls were quiet so I got the best sleep! I also loved they offered a full breakfast in the morning. The staff greeted every guest and made sure everyone had what they needed. They were friendly and made me look forward to breakfast! I also used the workout room which was great as well. Sometimes equipment at hotels is not good but I felt this had just about everything I needed to do a decent workout while traveling. And I was the only one in the room at 6am which is rare.
