Pros:
•Close proximity to the night market, restaurants and Phousi hill
•The room beside the bathroom was cleaned.
Cons:
•We were told to remove our shoes before entering the hotel by the hotel staff, but apparently that rule doesn’t apply to white people. Seriously my own people and my mother-land, please stop that ridiculous nonsense thinking. I saw these a couple wearing their shoes inside the hotel lobby and the young receptionist said absolutely nada.
•Bathroom smells (sewage smell). I think they have a problem with their sewage system. The bathroom smells, especially in our room A1. Just a tip for the next customer - close the bathroom door to help eliminate the smell.
•No hand towels, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair net, cotton swap and water bottles. You get the basic just the 2 towels, hand soap, a single toilet paper roll ,body wash and shampoo.
•WiFi is nonexistent. Barely can connect to the hotel WiFi (If WiFi is something you care about)
•Sink only has cold running water
•They don’t have a 24 hr receptionist
•Only two mirrors in the room (One in living space the other in the bathroom)
• Expect mosquitos in Luang Prabang - We have 4 in the room sleeping with us.
•No TV (no one really cares, but if you do)
•No tissue paper
•No coffee/tea (usually provided in most hotels)
•Room was properly cleaned. I think they didn’t replace our sheets or blanket. The blanket was just laid over the bed which is okay. Ain’t nothing to complain about.
•No one really cares about our concerns with the hotel. The loose sink faucet and the bathroom smells
