It is very difficult to find the perfect words to describe my experience with villa la preziosa… maybe any person could find imposible to plan a wedding from Costa Rica to Tuscany, but let me tell you that is possible with them not only because of their enchanted and magical place but also because I can assure you that you will not be able to find anyone as special and dedicated to their work as their owners Gunther and Barbara, since the beginning to the end everything was simply perfect, this hotel is absolutely beautiful in all their accommodations, their breakfast is delicious and all the things they had planned for my wedding day were beyond what I could have imagined and dreamed of. Thank you thank you thank you than you!!! for being the most stunning and wonderful hotel for my special day, and the most beautiful and patient hosts for all of my guests, our family and specially with my husband, our son and me. We always will be grateful with you and will always remember you with all our love. God bless you!

We left with the most magnificent memories of Villa Preziosa Gunther and Barbara were both the most welcoming hosts that we could ever hope for. Julian’s limincello and smile were stunning! Breakfast of a paradise island! We will definitely come back soon

Günther and Barbara are two wonderful hosts with a stunning villa. From the beginning on Barbara was really helpful on planing trips and making reservations. She also asked us if we have any allergies so she could provide the best breakfast. The Villa is only 5-8 minutes by car away from the city center. The rooms are really clean and we had a great nights sleep. All in all, we will definitely be back and can highly recommend this accommodation to everyone!

A simply wonderful hotel! The owners restored the villa a few years ago, and it is stunning. A lot of care and thought has gone into the renovation, and the result is fantastic. It combines modern amenities (for instance an almost silent yet very efficient climate control system) with stylish interiors. Best of all, the family who run it are charming. I can highly recommend a stay here.

Stunningly and painstakingly restored mansion in the suburbs of Lucca. Lovely and welcoming hosts, Gunther and Barbara, and their son Julian, all of whom couldn't do enough for us and the other guests - you're almost regarded as one of the family. Extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished rooms and an excellent breakfast. This accommodation is situated about ten minutes drive outside of the ancient centre of Lucca, so very convenient if you don't wish to stay inside the town centre. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Ok…just finished our stay. Every picture and every positive comment regarding Villa La Preziosa is 100% accurate. The only thing I would add is that the breakfast is extremely good. This place is wonderful. It’s not just the beauty of the gardens, the warm clean building, the beautiful rooms and the comfortable beds; it’s the gracious hosts. The owners are highly engaged and are genuinely wonderful people who do all they can to ensure your stay is amazing and memorable. If traveling through Tuscany, stay here for at least 2 nights (more if you can) and relax and enjoy. Go see Lucca, walk the peaceful town (very safe) with lots of shopping down narrow paths and many good restaurants. We rode bikes to the town from the Villa (about a 10 min ride) and walked the town. We spent the afternoons relaxing in the Villa garden, drinking coffee and wine. Visiting Lucca and staying at the Villa is an experience you will always remember.

This is an absolutely beautiful boutique hotel run by a wonderful family. The rooms are large, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The breakfast is scrumptious, with lots of fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, as well as eggs and beverages made to order. The location is excellent, very close to restaurants within the walls of Lucca. But the thing that stands out the most when you stay at Villa La Preziosa is that you feel so well cared for by this lovely, warm-hearted family. While we were there my adult son was celebrating a birthday. At breakfast that day, and as a complete surprise to us, the entire family and staff came out with a cake, singing happy birthday. I cannot imagine that this would happen in many hotels. If you plan to visit this lovely area, do yourself a favor and look no further than Villa La Preziosa.

Stunning newly renovated Villa. The rooms are beautiful and the garden area and swimming pool are stunning. A fabulous location just outside Lucca. Free parking a bonus and bike hire were a great bonus. The Breakfast was delicious and the cappuccinos the best. A real find
