I’ve been traveling for work for the last five years. In the last three weeks (and the next 3-4) I will be staying in this hotel. Last Friday I checked out, already making a reservation for the day after the next (sunday) for another 2 weeks. In the hurry to get to work I forgot a pair of shoes in the room. I got home late that night and noticed that I forgot the shoes, so I informed the hotel that my shoes were there, they replied that they would check. Sunday evening when I checked in again, the person at the reception said that no one let them know anything. This morning I asked again and they immediately said they didn’t find anything. I kindly asked if they could check again as it’s impossible they are somewhere else (I left also my luggage at the hotel and only took my purse to go back home). Tonight I asked again and I was told that it was impossible that my shoes were in the premises. At this point I responded that something was certainly found and that the housekeeper took the shoes. It is not my interest to know who took my belongings, as long as I have them back. It’s horrendous and pitiful that in such an hotel (A 4 star hotel), you get your stuff stolen and not registered in the lost & found as per their Tems & Conditions. Also it a big disappointment since my company and I are bringing so many booking and money to the premises. I will think of a further action on this.
