Rooms was nice but the lady at the front desk upon check in on 08/17/2024 was very rude and like we were bothering her. The shower had not been cleaned and the drain was full of hair. she said she would send someone but as of check out still not done

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Nice breakfast area. Room very quiet. Very peaceful atmosphere. Very clean facility. Enjoy the stay. Enjoy the environment. Will be booking again in the near future. Was acknowledged as Honors guest. Very happy

CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!! We generally book at places a little more bougee than this but we were at the end of a long summer of being in hotels and we had to be there for 10 days so we were trying to keep our cost under $3000 for those 10 days. Mission accomplished. We even put our room to the black light test and it passed with flying colors. That place was whistle clean. The addition of washers and dryers for our use was a nice bonus. It was great to have the option of the fold out couch for the teenagers and the full-size fridge was so convenient as well as being able to fill our water coolers every morning before we hit the ball fields. Breakfast was good but not over the top. We actually arrived during that big microsoft meltdown that grounded all the airports and the staff had a difficult time checking us in but they made it delightful by chatting with us while we waited. If I'm not mistaken an owner? Partner? type person was on board that week visiting from Texas to oversee operations and made such an impression on us. He was one of those people with a bubble of kindness around him and an air sophistication with just enough seriousness that you knew he could handle himself if necessary. Id have to dig very deep to complain about this property..if anything it is the surrounding area that needs work..while the location is great for softball its not that great for tourists in general but dont confuse that to mean it is a bad area, we felt very safe while we were there. There are no homeless people meandering at night and the other guests were all so similar to us it felt like home. Great hotel, thanks for everything.

The front desk manager and her staff are amazing! I had a problem with my reservation and would not have had a room if it were not for the front desk manager! She immediately identified the problem and ways to correct the dates for my reservation. She also assisted me with correcting the problem. I am so thankful and grateful for this manager and her team!🙌🏾👏🏾😇

Stayed here for two weeks for work. While it is not the worst Hilton property, that honor belongs to the Huntsville Doubletree, this is yet another disappointing property in the area. Corporate Hilton should really come and inspect their properties here in Huntsville. It is giving the Hilton brand a bad name. After coming off a great stay at another Home2 Suites elsewhere in the country, this location was on the opposite end of that spectrum. Rooms are old and housekeeping does the bare minimum cleaning. Bathroom door lock is hanging off the door but I guess it doesn’t matter because after getting trapped in the bathroom after the door swelled, I am hesitant to close the door. Room to room, noise is minimal but unless you are on the top floor or slightly hearing impaired, you can hear the guests walking in the room above you. Thankfully most guests are here for work as well so it’s pretty quiet after dark. At least once a week, the breakfast crew either does not show up for work or they have management issues with ordering supplies for delivery on time, so it seems. Breakfast starts at 630am but none of the food items were out at the time. 720am rolled around and still just muffins and the previous day’s breakfast. This happened twice. The gym is somewhat equipped with 2 treadmills (one broken and one functional), a peloton bike, and other machines but gym towels are not restocked. All of the staff I interacted with are generally nice although not exactly going out of their way to accommodate and fix any of these issues when you report it to them. One good thing is the full fridge and kitchen space so you can just prepare and eat in your room although my room comes furnished with all sorts of utensils but no spoons to be had. Housekeeping was apologetic but just shrugged and did nothing. Had to get some plastic utensils the next day from breakfast. I was here for work so was limited in hotel choices but just save your money and go elsewhere if you’re on vacation.

I’ve been to this hotel several times and every time I come it is exceptionally clean. The staff is overly friendly and welcoming and the food is always great in the morning. Thanks AJ, Lindsay and Evelyn for the hospitality. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon.

Wow, such a great experience at this hotel. Was in for business and it is a wonderful property with an awesome staff. Had a nice chat with Evelyn, Lindsay and AJ and they were super friendly. Hotel rooms are great, large rooms, quiet AC, great location. Restaurant and bar next door at the Hilton Garden Inn is high quality food and affordable drinks. Overall, will definitely stay here on my next trip out.

Avoid this hotel! This is an awful hotel! Stayed there with my husband and our kids for 4 nights in June 2024 and were given the wrong room (instead of the 2 queens and a sofa sleeper we reserved, we were given 1 king bed and a sofa with no blanket). This was after calling in the afternoon to confirm! The employee at check in was unable to move us into the correct room until the next day so we had a miserable night. Was told by the manager that we would be given a refund for that night but it took multiple calls, emails, and complaints to get it. Hotel manager just didn’t care to make it right so we had to go directly to Hilton. New room we were moved to was musty, smelly, AC would barely bring the temp down, and felt grimy. Breakfast was usually mostly empty/picked through and not restocked - even coffee in the morning would go empty and we would have to wait 30 minutes for someone to refill it. One evening, we were trying to get new towels because housekeeping did not come (they ran out btw), we witnessed two different people come in to check in only to be told their room wasn’t ready - at almost 8pm! Very surprised to have such an awful stay at a chain that is usually a go-to for our family. Despite it being newer and in a great location, I would advise you to avoid this hotel unless you have a lot of time on your hands to make complaint phone calls because the hotel itself won’t make it right!

Overall an average stay at this Home2 Suites. Breakfast was decent but nothing to really be wowed by it. One morning during my week long stay, the breakfast crew didn’t show up so the staff put out the previous day’s package foods. Waffle maker timer is broken, but it the heating unit works. Coffee is pretty weak. Housekeeping is upon request but I didn’t need anything more than a shower gel refill which they quickly took care of. As far as hotels go in this area, this is decent for a longer stay with the full sized fridge and dishwasher in the room but don’t expect much. Rooms were surprisingly quiet - at least from the noise from the adjacent rooms even though the hotel was sold out for at least two nights of the week I was there. Rooms further down the end of the hall may hear some of the highway noise as that is facing the on ramp to the highway. Gym was completely out of water during the week I was there - staff mentioned that they were waiting for the water delivery to show up so they handed out bottle waters instead. Front desk agents I interacted with, night and day, were overall helpful.
