Good location near to malls. Malls are so so, nothing much to shop. Cleanliness is ok. Daily change of towels but not the sheets. Housekeeping can be quite late. Was only done in the evening for all the days. Buffet food wide variety but also so so, nothing special per se.

The hotel is directly connected to shopping malls, adding extra convenience. While the elevators can be slow during peak times, the overall experience remains exceptional for a central and relaxing stay in Melaka.

Staff has to be more well informed on ways to get to the surrounding malls. Wrong infornation was given (both gave two different version within 10 mins of each other). Buffet breakfast servings to be of better quality food. Most of the item looks like being dumped into the tray and doing mass feeding. Room was clean and feels cosy.

The maintenance and cleanliness of the junior suite are far below average. There was cobweb behind the bathroom door, bedsheet was torn with a small hole, drainage of sink and bath area extremely slow. Tv remote control not working too. Thought my previous feedback would have made them do better and improve but evidently not so. In fact, deteriorated. The only reason we chose here again is the location.

Given that it’s a booking for a couple, we were however, only given a small bottle of shower gel, shampoo & conditioner to share. Had to request for more the moment we checked into room. Kind of troublesome. Would also appreciate that hand soap be in liquid / foam bottle instead of a small bar soap, for hygiene & convenience. The bar soap gets too soft to use once it’s wet. The bathroom door could not close properly. We had stayed in room 1662. Pls look into it. We like that it has slippers & in-room safe. The suite is spacious & bed is big.

Was given a nice pool view room. The room was spacious for extra sofa to place bags. Found some molds on corners of room. Only 1 universal socket and multiple local sockets at the desk. No extra socket, power points or USB ports near bed corners. After Covid, the shopping mall was left with many empties…breakfast was very simple and no chefs stations to help cooking eggs at 6.45 am. Paid extra RM5 for carpark per day.

The room is clean and the location is strategic. But the light of the room is a little bit darker.

Nice hotel but the aroma at the lobby is really strong. Room is decent and clean for a one night stay with family. Breakfast is so-so, could be better.

The hotel is conveniently connected to a shopping mall and offers a lovely view from its Skybar. Upon checking into the room, I noticed a few minor issues: the safe box had a low battery, the lock was slightly misaligned, and hand towels were missing. However, the staff promptly resolve this concerns. Overall, the team was friendly and  helpful. One downside was that the air conditioning was excessively cold at night, and the quilt wasn’t warm enough to counter the chill.

The main purpose I stayed in Hatten Hotel is because the hotel is near to the hospital as I need to go to hospital to do my wound dressing everyday. I sincerely thanks to the bellman which is really friendly and helpful. But for the housekeeping I'm fully disappointed, I can't imagine that the 5 star hotel didn't wash the mugs and glasses each time they cleaned the room. This is not the first time I experienced it. I personally went down to the reception to request for the morning calls but I didn't receive any morning calls at all. Just now, I asked one of the receptionist that I have some past issues would like to discuss with the manager on duty. I did mention the manager's name, the receptionist told me that he was on leave today. BUT, AN HOIR LATER, I SAW THE MANAGER ! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Thank you very much

Water is somewhat note clean. Bad smell in some room. Toilet is not clean. Good service

Breakfast is decent. Location very good near to attraction place. Service is good especially the concierge guy at the front lobby. Room ok maybe need some refurbished. Overall is good

Thank you Trip for asking this and allowing me to share my experience. The hotel is well located. Walking distance to many places like Jonker Street, Church, Food, Shopping, Etc. The hotel prices is fair stating 5star but actually this place not so Great. As family I took a join room n was granted. The size of the room was small. Maintenance was poor. Pool was less chlorinated but dirty water. Facilities was under maintained almost falling apart. Food wasn’t as expected. Needed to validate e Carpark coupon everytime as u check out. Worse was e Beds, it’s really old n sunken in. Had hard time sleeping. Overall e hotel stay wasn’t a good experience. E r other hotel very close n may b a little higher in price but much cleaner. If ur going as family n u just need a place to crash, then it may b fine. I only stayed one day in malacca n if I had extended, I would hv changed hotel. Overall this won’t b my choice hotel in future stays. Attached r some pictures of e defects I experienced. E service was fairly ok.
