Moonlight Hotel

Another great stay at the moonlight hotel. Second time here, perfect location, clean rooms, everything you need, friendly staff at the hotel and bar, great cocktails. Will definitely come back again, Would highly recommend. Thank you Moonlight

Well what can I say. Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. With cleaners coming in daily to do the beds and bins etc. air conditioning and small fridge in the room. Breakfast is very good and the connected bar run by two brothers is the best in Stalis. No pool but we had permission to use other hotel pools so was not an issue for us. All in all a very well organised, friendly team making our holiday very special in deed. Will be booking again for next year!

Returned to the Moolight Hotel for the 9th year. This is a truly small and friendly hotel. A family run hotel with a bar at the front. We were welcomed by the family and the boys at the bar. It was like coming home. Rooms are a decent size with a balcony. Breakfast is great from cereal to fresh fruit, toast, cooked breakfast, fresh meat and cheese, plus tea and coffee. There is no pool in the Moonlight, but guests can you pool at hotel, just over the road. 7.50 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. Bar st the front of the hotel is run by 2 brothers, Boyan and Simon. The best barmen in Stalis, if not the whole of Crete. After 12 months, they still remembered the drinks we have. There is not any more I can say except we have booked again for next year, and that says it all.

TUI Small & friendly never fail to disappoint & this was no exception. Lovely bright, clean apartment & very good breakfast. The guys who run the bar on an evening were friendly & helpful with advice & tips ok where to go. We used the pool across the road & couldn't fault it at all. A lovely & relaxing holiday. My fiancee & I both loved the holiday & Crete which is now my favourite Greek Island.

Wow what can I say but 5* excellent service this little gem of a hotel provides….. it was our first time to Crete and we chose Stalis at it offered everything we like in a holiday and chose moonlight hotel as we like small and friendly And how glad we did ! The hotel itself is in 2 blocks we were in the main block room 216 side view Lovely room plenty of hanging space and draws , fridge, tv (advice bring your Amazon fire stick for better tv choice)good Wi-Fi , comfortable beds, good air conditioning (€60) safe €20 We paid €10.50 tourists tax Great breakfast choice continental plus hot bacon , sausage,mushroom, beans (no fried egg but boiled) fresh fruit and Greek yogurt. A great credit to the hotel the 2 sisters who work so hard at breakfast and cleaning the place is spotless Although the hotel does not have a pool we used the one over the road and ate there most days and used sun beads (£7.50) Also a great credit to the hotel the twins at the bar (opens 6 till late) they keep the drinks flowing once they know your drink of choice…… and lastly not forgetting little Rocky Stalis resident dog doing the rounds getting a drink and a bite to eat Would definitely recommend and return!

We stayed in the Moonlight for 7 nights in August. Well located on the quieter end of the main street in Stalis. Very friendly staff, spotless accomodation, with a good choice of hot or cold buffet for breakfast. A relaxing open-air bar at the front of the hotel and a particular thanks to Boyan, Marko, and Simon for their welcoming hospitality. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant at night but there are any amount of bars/restaurants on the main street to suit all tastes. Ignore the 2-stars for this hotel. The reason for this is it doesn't have a pool but the beach is literally across the road, and you can use the pools in the surrounding hotels free of charge. All in all we highly recommend the Moonlight!
