This is the WORST business I have ever dealt with in my professional life. This was a business booking via travel agents Egencia/Expedia and it was absolutely unbelievable that ******* would support such a crazy house. They have charged my boss over €300 per night for a room that stank of sweat, the shower was broken and the bedsheets had holes... I understand it's a 2 star hotel, but the price suggest an acceptable level of service at least (which they did not provide). Not only that! They took the payment for the reservation at the time of booking as opposed to what the confirmation said, that payment will be taken at the hotel. not only that! they charged him for an extra night and then they have refused to refund the money saying "he is rich so he can pay". The owners; married, old couple, were so extremely rude and unreasonable that at this point I just think they are both mentally incapacitated and should be in a care home and not dealing with people and their money. They don't speak English and they were very agitated with my boss for complaining about the broken shower. I had to be nice to them while my boss was staying there, as I was genuinely worried, that they would ransack his room while he was out during the day. The "taxi" they have, do not book it! They will take your money and then they will not deliver the service as per instructions. They have charged me €250 for 20/30 min of driving and on the second part of the trip, "the pick up" service, they parked 2.5 miles away from the agreed meeting point, so my boss and his customers had to walk for 2.5 miles in the rain to find the driver. Like I said; THE WORST experience with a business in my professional life. If you still decide to go (and I strongly advise that you don't!), do not pre-pay for anything and make the payments after the service/stay. Looking at all of the online reviews, this is not a one off experience. And even when talking to the local taxi agencies, when I mentioned "La Forge" they literally laughed and said "good luck", so it's clear they are know in the local area, not for the good reasons. Based on that, I truly believe all the positive comments are from their family and not the actual customers.
