An idyllic place to while away a few days of utter peace and relaxation. We booked at the annex because of its support for the local school; we would return because it’s simply the most gorgeous place to stay. Nothing fancy but the beds are comfortable with decent mosquito nets and there are - alleluia - sockets (including UK 3-pin) by the bed. Each of the eight rooms has a little terrace at the front but the real draw is the traditionally-built, fan-cooled communal lounge that overlooks the beautiful greenery of the grounds. Evening meals are cooked to order - just choose from the menu a couple of hours in advance. It’s like having a private chef :) Breakfasts are quite basic but always included loads of fresh fruit, pancakes and toast. All the staff are friendly and attentive. The annex is less than a minute walk from the glorious beach. Nothing to spoil it - no music, no beachside cafes - just a few vendors and miles of white sand. Go inland and the centre of the village with a small supermarket and a single, tiny gift shop / boutique is only a few minutes walk. If you’re looking to wind-down, Tamani Villas Annex is the place to do it. We’d go back in a heartbeat.
