I am very disappointed with the service at this hotel and restaurant. My in-laws went to the lobby for a coffee, believing it was complimentary, only to be charged an outrageous €45.20—the full price of the breakfast buffet, despite not having eaten anything. To make matters worse, we visited the bar the previous evening, ordered two glasses of wine, and paid in cash. Yet, the next morning, we discovered a €34.50 charge on our room bill for "evening bar service." When we explained to the front desk that there must have been a mistake and that someone had charged our room in error, they flat-out refused to remove the fee. Their excuse was that it might have been for dinner—completely inaccurate, as we did not dine at the restaurant. While the rooms were comfortable and quiet, I strongly recommend avoiding the restaurant and bar to avoid being hit with outrageous charges. The lack of flexibility, empathy, and basic customer service from the staff was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. This experience has left a very negative impression, and I would caution others against staying here.
