I was searching for every hotel in Mesa that I could find and almost every hotel was sold out. I called the La Quinta Inn by Wyndham, Doubletree by Hilton, Courtyard by Marriott, Hyatt Place, Hampton Inn, Residence Inn, MK Hotels in which used to be called the Greentree Inn, and Sheraton. The first thing that every person told me is "Sorry, Sir but we are sold out this weekend." And so, I decided to check availability at the Windemere Hotel and I got a really good deal in fact it was 50% off. My mom and I checked in on Friday November 5, 2021 for two nights. We were assigned Room 259. It was an okay hotel but there was some stuff that we were disappointed: 1. No elevator: To carry our stuff up to our room. 2. No breakfast: We had to go out somewhere and grabbed breakfast. 3. The COX remote kind of was not working: I had to get in front of the TV to change the channel. I totally understand that they did not have breakfast in despite of COVID-19 but it would have been nice if they have Grab n Go such as: Muffins, fruit, and juice. By far, I really think that this hotel STRONGLY needs new management and really needs to renovate their hotel to make it look nice. We had a "decent" stay and please don't waste your money by staying two nights.
