Hotel is a few minutes walk from the main centre but still convenient as town is small. Good breakfast! Staff are friendly. Onsite carpark has limited spaces but can park on the street easily.

Bon hôtel moderne avec un emplacement stratégique pour visiter la ville de Metz. Bon rapport qualité prix. Chambre correcte avec tout ce qu’il faut. Bon petit déjeuné.

Quartos sem climatização. Fazia zero grau lá fora,enquanto dentro uns 30° dentro do quarto. Os Serviços do hotel não funcionam no Domingo e tivemos que pedir comida pelo Uber eat. Serviço atenciosamente dos funcionários,mas os quartos não podem ser standard ,tem que ser superiores.

The staff are good - particularly David. If the review was about the staff, then David would get my vote. I would like hotels to be a little clearer on what is on offer in their hotels. As we were on a road trip parking was an essential element when I was booking hotels. Parking is available but you can’t reserve doesn’t really do it for me. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice. The restaurant was ok but closed on Sundays. The hotel was fine and the beds and pillows were comfortable.

As a Technical Manager, I would like to share my experience staying at the Mercure Metz hotel during a recent business trip. The hotel not only impressed me with its cleanliness but also stood out for its exceptional service and incredible food options. The combination of these factors made it an excellent choice for my stay in Metz.

Stayed one night here. The public areas are very stylish and the room was excellent. The bed was big but the pillows were small and square. There was a fridge and a chair with a table. The bathroom was lovely with a good shower. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice but the staff were struggling to top everything up

Great location only 5 min walk to train station and 7 min walk to the square where you will find restaurants and bars. There is a little bakery that sells great options for breakfast (only 1 min walk from the hotel) , very affordable prices! The hotel unfortunately has a sewage smell in the reception and in our first night the smell was very noticeably in our room as well. Also, we didn’t have hot water in the first day due to an issue. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and tea/coffee facilities as well.

Everything was excellent apart from the signage to enter the car park, due to the one-way system you can't see the sign and so pass it and so have to go all around again. This would be an easy fix I'm sure, and didn't distract from a great stay. Driving a plug-in car it was great to see a charging point that was free to use. On entering the hotel the receptionist was welcoming and efficient, our room was high quality and with plenty of electrical outlets and other items that made our stay comfortable. The location is far enough out to be quiet but a short easy walk to the centre and all the sights. The quality of our afternoon meal and the breakfast were both very good as were all of the staff that we encountered. When visiting Metz I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely place for two nights. Nicely refurbished lounge with friendly service at the bar. Easy check in with private parking lot for a reasonable extra fee. Comfortable room, very clean. Bathrooms could use updating but as we understood it, further renovations are planned.

Good hotel within a short walking distance of the train station and city center. The staff were all very nice and room was comfortable. Oddly though, the room came with a kettle but no tea or coffee. So bring your own? The bed was comfortable but pillows were flat. There is some limited parking behind the hotel for 11€ a night. I think you need to tell them in advance if you want to use their parking. There is a much bigger underground garage across the street but it costs about 14€ a night.

Currently being renovated, with the bar, restaurant and reception area giving a good idea of what's to come, Mercure Metz Centre is very easy to reach by both car and train, located in a quiet part of the city centre. It offers easy parking both in the private hotel parking and the public underground parking of the square in front of the hotel. The hotel parking allows for charging of EV and hybrid vehicles. Staff was very friendly, the hotel itself was being renovated and although our room was one of the renovated ones I feel it could still do with a completely renovated bathroom. You can still clearly see the traces of the "old" style. Also, we were unable to get the aircon to actually cool our room so we just left the window open at night. The breakfast and the hotel restaurant itself offered good quality, with the restaurant going above and beyond the usual safe "pasta, burger or salad" options you get in most hotels. All in all we had a lovely time at Metz Centre and would choose it again if we returned to Metz for the Christmas market season.
