I stayed at this resort in April of 2024 after a weeklong diving trip on liveaboard . When I was making room reservations (back in January) I booked a room directly through the hotel website. I was working with a dive travel agent and also had a room booked. I contacted the hotel directly from the website, gave them the reservation number, and told them I already had a reservation, so I needed to cancel the reservation I had booked through the website as I did not need 2 rooms. Imagine my surprise when I arrived back in Koror after our week diving (with no cellular or data service while on the dive boat,) and received an alert from my Credit Card that I had been charged for the reservation that I had previously cancelled! When I checked in at the hotel, I explained to the desk clerk the error, but he said that there was nothing to be done. At that time, I said, give me both room keys then, if I paid for 2 rooms I wanted both rooms. The desk clerk then assured my husband and myself that we would receive a credit back for one of the rooms! I never received a credit from then, and I have contacted the hotel management company with my documentation (cancelled reservation email) but even though they received my email, they had yet to reply or attempt to resolve the issue as of mid-June 2024. This resort has robbed me of $1500. As for the resort itself, read additional reviews, the rooms are somewhat run down, but it is the only resort on the island with a beach. The resort is not centrally located, and you cannot go anywhere without transportation because of its location. The breakfast buffet was outstanding!
