Stay away! Awful experience, and the Hotel have been woeful to say the least in responding to the subsequent complaint; Issues include; 1) Phones were not working in the rooms; When I complained, of the inconvenience to have to travel to reception each time we wanted them, their responses was ''from your room to the reception doesn't take longer than two minutes''! Apart from the cheek, our room (#521) was the LAST room (ie furthest away) from the lifts on the 5th floor. The journey to reception took 4 minutes, each way, and longer with our small children (who we couldn't leave by themselves). Most significantly, the travel time should be irrelevant; the fact is that Cordial advertised/notified that there would be ability to call reception/room service, and there was no such service as a result of this issue. 2) There were multiple faults with the rooms; Cordial claimed that the only fault we reported was ''2 broken bulbs'' - That was false, as we reported multiple faults. We also had to arrange the sink to be unblocked. In relation to the cleanliness; we didn't bother reporting this as the amount of issues in the room got to a point where we felt it was 'too much to report'. 3) There was a leak during our stay, the wifi didn't work as a result, during that time. The Hotel subsequently denied it affected the wifi! 4) Cordiol advertised a games room; we enquired about the games room, on 'Day 1' of our stay, only to be told that the Games Room had been out of action for months. When I complained after the stay, Cordial alluded that it could have been used, when in fact it was out of use/bounds. Either way, we were advised, in an email conversation prior to our stay (on 24th May 2023 @ 10:25am) that there was a games room at the hotel - which was false.
