River Country Inn

Very enjoyable experience. Easy, to book. Friendly staff..... Looking forward to our next trip to Moama and further sight seeing in the surrounding Echuca area. A great historical area. Easily accessible to many great sights to see.......... Nothing seemed to much trouble if needed.

We cannot believe the reviews on this site. We went there to celebrate a wedding anniversary and were totally disappointed. Following our stay the managers sent us an email asking for our review of the stay. This is how we responded -------- Greetings Debby & Jon, We were not happy with our stay. The property did not match the photos displayed on internet sites. The unit contained a cobweb, the toilet roll holder was filthy (most likely from splashed urine), areas under the bathroom vanity needed cleaning, lawns were not mown, the garden was unkempt, pathways were not swept, and cigarette butts were in the ashtray on the table outside our unit. Due to the lack of cleanliness that was apparent, we felt uncomfortable to use the spa. Not perfect for our wedding anniversary celebration. Altogether, the property was in what we would describe as a very 'tired' condition and it did not meet our expectations. We noted that although you had about 27 units available, it seemed that only 3 or 4 were occupied by guests. Sorry that our review is so negative but it does convey our experience and our subsequent disappointment. Hope it provides some incentive for change.

Just spent 4 days at River Country Inn and had a wonderful time there. Close to shops and clubs and a central hub to many other towns. We had a double deluxe room which was very clean and rather large. Like all rooms here they open up onto a lovely garden adorned with plenty of chairs and tables just right for a quiet beer & nibbles of an afternoon. I had limited interaction with the staff, however the ones that I did were very friendly & welcoming.

Very large rooms, wonderfully comfortable beds, very clean, hosts are really helpful & friendly. Woolworths supermarket 2 mins walk, close to cafes, clubs & the town of Echuca on the Murray with the historical wharf & paddlesteamers featured in the classic movie All The Rivers Run, I can't wait to come back asap

Stayed at the River Country Inn for 4 nights. The rooms are very spacious, our room overlooking the garden was beautiful and quiet. Close to shops and clubs. Very relaxing stay. Stayed in other motels in Moama but will definitely be back to River Country Inn. The owner Jon was very friendly.

First time visiting this part of the world. Pleasantly surprised with the size of the room and the motels location to local amenities. All rooms on ground floor level with a nice garden setting with pool area in the middle of the complex. Very happy with our stay

This has to be the best motel in Moama.!! Large rooms, even the bathroom, and the most comfy bed and pillows to match. All crockery, microwave etc in room. Back door opens out to lovely gardens and pool. This was our 4th stay there and will certainly go back. Thanks so much Deb and Jon for our most relaxing stay

Everything about River Country Inn is fabulous , we both love staying there , and have several times ..Debby and Jon are friendly , helpful people and our room was very clean and comfortable ., we especially love the beautiful garden setting , very peaceful and nicely maintained . The motel is an easy walk to the shops and clubs .. we think it would be hard to find a better place to stay ..great value .

Just come home from our 5th stay. As always comfortable beds, great amenities - lovely garden, bbq, pool area. We don’t stay any where else when we go to the border. Affordable rates, great location to shops, restaurants and clubs, A very relaxing few days.
