Hampton Inn & Suites Mobile I-65 @ Airport Blvd.

Stay 1 night as a midpoint betwen Atlanta and New Orleans On Aug 21. Room is quite and clean. Front desk young lady is polite and helpful, she helped me print something. I have some complains: 1. the breakfast stop 5 minutes even before the schedule time. But they allowed us to grab something. 2. Housekeeper was asking when you check out everytime we met kindly feel pushed. 3. As hilton gold, request for a later checkout but they can only give up to 12pm which is normally what other hotel normal checkout time. 4. Restroom wall has a bunch of hairs which is disgusting.

We stayed in a king handicapped accessible suite. The room was clean however, the extra blanket for the folding bed was so old it was literally falling apart. I brought it to the front desk and the clerk replaced it immediately. The bathroom was very old as well. It had a handicapped shower and the grout on the floor / shelves was very moldy. I actually bought bleach cleaner and sprayed them down. Leftover soap was still in the shower which left me wondering it the shower had been cleaned. The tiles around the drain were cracked and sinking down. Also, the toilet seat was very loose, fan didnt work, etc. this bathroom needs an update and good cleaning. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times and was very disappointed in the bathroom. It makes me wonder about the rest of the facility. I will say the desk clerk was very nice and breakfast was good.

The service was very good. We received a text after checking in to ask if we needed anything. The view from the back of the hotel was peaceful and green. The room was very clean and the refrigerator worked well which is not always the case. The breakfast was fairly good. The poll area was again very clean and private.

When we pointed out that the lock on the second floor room needed to be repaired, we were reassigned to a room on the fourth floor under pulsating loud machinery, and we were unable to sleep. Since we had to drive 751 miles the next day, and needed the sleep, we asked to be shifted to another room, but Tisha, who was at the desk said she was offended by our complaint and that she would leave us in that terrible room or throw us out of the hotel. This hotel has seen better days and is frayed around the edges. No one should ever stay here both because of that and the poor quality of the personnel.

At 3:19pm 3/25/23, I checked into this hotel with my young son. A young male was the hotel employee on duty. He did my check-in & took my ID & debit card for the room. A few mins later, my son wanted snacks, so he allowed to still 'be in line ahead of others' so I could make my purchases. He took my debit card but didn't give me my receipt but just told me the price $8. He gave me the impression that the $8 was charged to my room. My son & I went upstairs to put our things away & left shortly after for errands & dinner. We came back later to our room for a bit & then I decided to go downstairs to use hotel computers to catch up on the news. To my complete & utter DISGUST & HORROR, the ‘Executive Room’ was filled with boxes & junk, piled high! I went to the desk to speak with same young man on duty who mumbled an apology of the hotel not having any computers. ICYMI: YOU DIDN'T PUT A WARNING ON YOUR HOTEL WEBSITE THAT YOUR COMPUTER ROOM IS ‘UNAVAILABLE.’ Well, I decided to leave because this hotel wasn’t up to my standards. Your site says you have working computers in your Executive room but NOPE. My son & I checked out about 7pm with same young man. I asked him for receipt for my hotel stay & my snack purchases earlier. He did give me a receipt for my stay but said that he couldn’t give me a receipt for my purchase as he’d have to look through ALL of his transactions since then in order to find the $8 charge to my card. I’m not happy. I’m a Hilton honors member & I’m not happy.

We stopped here on the way to Jacksonville. It was OK but below what I expect from Hampton. We are Hilton Honors Diamond members so we stay at Hilton a lot. The cabinet door to the refrigerator would not stay closed so we had to prop it with a pillow, the fire alarm went off at 11:45 and then again before 6, they ran out of bacon and the eggs looked very old and tired. We are supposed to get free waters and a snack in our room and this was not done. No major problems but try another property.

We needed a place to stay as we traveled from the East coast to San Antonio, Texas. The hotel is right off of the highway and has a gas station nearby. Friendly staff helped us book the room over the phone as we drove, and they were very pleasant for check in. The double Queen room was spacious enough for our family of four, and we had plenty of room to set up our pack n play for the baby. Fridge kept our food and drinks cool. The hotel issues Dove products for shampoo, conditioner, etc. Good pressure in the shower. I melted into the bed….so comfy! We heard a train right before we went to bed, but we only heard it once. Would recommend.

Stayed for few nights while visiting Mobile during Mardi Gras. Front desk staff was exceptional! Friendly, helpful and always said hello. Breakfast was the usual dependable Hampton foods. Room was comfortable but wish there would be 2 chairs. Bathroom seemed to need some updating in shower. The hot/cold knob was loose but shower was good. Electric outlets need attention, they aren’t tight enough for plugs but worked. Overall the staff made it a really great place to stay.

We checked in for a night while our dog had surgery at MedVet Mobile. The front desk staff was fabulous (both night shift and day shift), welcoming, professional, able to deal with minor adjustments. Breakfast was fine with good hot oatmeal, Chobani yogurt, eggs and bacon, plenty of toast/bagels/muffins/cereal. I brought my own oat milk and so didn't ask for any milk alternatives. Coffee/hot water/tea bags (though no decaf tea) available all the time. Nice fitness room with a water bottle filler (access this with your room key). The first room, 401, was good but missing the little fridge, so we asked if we could move and took the opportunity to get a room facing away from the interstate toward a pretty little treed area: 428 (even numbered rooms face away from the interstate, so when you use the Hilton app to "pick your room," remember this tip! This room was fine. Clean and everything worked. Neutrogena products in the bathroom. The King studio has a nice work desk with a decent work chair. Little in-room coffee and also a microwave oven in addition to the fridge (which was a real mini fridge, not a cooler). The A/C was operated on the wall via a thermostat. I panicked when I pressed the buttons on the actual unit and nothing happened! But, it all worked great! This hotel is being renovated. The South stairwell was perfect with all new carpet. The ice maker on the 4th floor worked, and the chatty delightful maintenance man said that they worked on all 4 floors. The elevators always worked without excessive waiting and had small stickers saying that hotel updates were in process; we could see evidence of this without seeing/hearing a bunch of construction. This was a quiet hotel that treated us well--gave us a late checkout while we waited to hear about our pup. Pup was well loved there, too. It costs $75/stay and you sign a waiver agreeing your pup will be well-mannered, but that is both worth it and understandable. There was a pet walk out back that was serviceable with a nice doggie poo bag station/receptacle, but the drainage out there (by the pool) makes for a bit of a soggy walk, so stick to the higher ground! Thanks for making this an option for us pet owners, Hilton!
