Spotless hotel in great location BUT !!! First the positives, the hotel itself is very large, spacious and spotlessly clean. Situated very close to the beach with handy small but well stocked supermarkets, the rooms are good sized with shower and bath, to and air con. Now the not so good bits if you do not get a sea view/pool view there is an upgrade charge of 8€ per person per night otherwise you will be looking at a car park or street. There is no kettle in the room, for a 20€ deposit you can get one from reception, no cups, tea bags or coffee are provided, it’s a trip to the shop for those. As mentioned previously the hotel is huge, 99.9% Spanish guests which we liked, this does mean however that there are a large amount of people everywhere all the time, it’s also worth saying that this is a very family oriented hotel, children’s entertainment provided, entertainment is very popular, excessively loud and goes on until 12midnight, every night. The restaurant food is of high quality with plenty to go round, you will have to queue though, school canteen style, the noise in the restaurant is akin to a public swimming pool, relaxing it is not !! In fact it’s pretty unbearable at times despite the staff being very efficient at service. The biggest problem for us in the restaurant is the language barrier, despite having Spanish written translation for serious food intolerances, it took six members of staff to give answers (which was embarrassing in front of so many people) I still was told a dish was safe when it most definitely was not as finally confirmed by the chef. This is really disappointing and also quite dangerous, it really needs addressing in either better labelling or staff training, it so nearly ruined our holiday. Overall a lovely place, not suitable if you are looking for a relaxing holiday unless you spend your whole time on the beach, fabulous if you are a family with children
