Royal Grand Hotel

I spent two weeks at the Royal Grand Hotel on a very intense business trip, where all meetings were held in their conference room. As such, we had breakfast, lunch and most dinners at the hotel. In a nutshell, the food and more importantly the service are outstanding! The Managing Director Wael Hariz has created an environment where everyone from the front desk to the waiters to the cleaning ladies offer service that parallels any Ritz Carlton. While they offer a hearty breakfast and lunch buffet, you need only ask chefs Ali or Mahmoud to prepare a special dish and they are happy to indulge. The espresso and macchiato rival any barista in the US. The roof top restaurant offers tasty Sushi and Vietnamese food accompanied by reasonably priced Spanish wine. The bedrooms are spacious with lots of natural light and the beds comfortable, though nothing to write home about. The guy to know is Bilal at the front desk. He’s the can do man. Ask him for a restaurant recommendation or a reliable pharmacy and he’ll give you the best advice. Overall, there might be nicer hotels with better views but hands down the best service in town.

After spending more than 2 months at RGH I can finally say Thank you Royal Grand for making my long stay easy and stress free. The staff is just amazing, attentive, welcoming, nice, respectful ,courteous, professional and well trained. It was my first visit to Liberia and Mr. Bilal helped and assisted me before my arrival. The organisation was just perfect, the airport transfer and car rental service was all done and handled by him. I felt very safe, very welcomed, and the staff were very helpful and kind. They take security very seriously. The room was net, clean and spacious. My special thank you goes to Mr Bilal, for making my trip easy and pleasant, whatever you will need to know or help you get around, be sure he will help to make your stay comfortable! I really felt Home here. RGH staff will be like your gracious family away from home, you will not regret at all.

Royal remains my preferred hotel to lodge in each time I am in Monrovia. The quality of service of all its staff remain exceptional and always grateful for the hospitality shown to me each time I visit. A top choice in Monrovia and recommend RGH to anyone traveling to Monrovia.

Raymond from the donut bar was an amazing host. Due to a miscalculation on my part, I ended up paying extra on my bill but he identified the error and made sure that the extra amount was returned back to me. Royal Grand overall has some of the most amazing staff! Very dedicated and always willing to help customers. It was my go to place in Liberia. The only short-coming of the place is that it can be quite expensive sometimes but they definitely make it worth the money you pay.

I loved the bed in the room. Its massive 😜. Very supportive staff. If you are staying long you will be board with same menu for breakfast. Roof top restaurant are very cool. Pretty reasonable Gym has most of the equivalents. Spicy pepper soup is the best.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This hotel felt like home. Clean, comfortable, great service, and such good taste! The thing that was the most impressive was the food at the rooftop restaurant. I’ve been to the best restaurants and never tasted sushi as good as I have here. It doesn’t hurt that the fish is local and freshly caught! I will stay here next time - made my week so enjoyable.

I recently stayed at the Royal Hotel and had such an amazing experience that I just have to share! The amenities here are top-notch, and there's something for everyone. Let's start with the spa – absolute heaven! It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day. Cafe Royale is a gem for breakfast or a casual meal, and I can’t rave enough about Kaldi’s Coffee for my morning caffeine fix. The Pizza Bar serves up some of the best slices I've ever had, and Mako’s Fruit Fresh Juices are a must-try if you're into healthy, refreshing drinks. For those with a sweet tooth, the Donut Bar is your go-to spot. Seriously, their donuts are out of this world! The hotel's central location is super convenient, and there’s Orange phone company right in the lobby – so handy if you need to sort out your phone while traveling. The staff here are incredibly attentive and welcoming. Bilal at the front desk was a STANDOUT– he went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. And oh, I got my hair done at the hotel salon, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer! My hair looked so beautiful, I felt like a million bucks. Definitely a 10/10 experience. If you’re looking for a place that has it all – great food, relaxing amenities, and stellar service – the Royal Hotel is the place to be!
