The Jabberwock Bed & Breakfast

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night visit to The Jabberwock Inn. This is a beautifully restored 1911 Craftsman cottage centrally located in Monterey close to everything one would want in Monterey. The Inn is filled with beautiful Quarter sawn oak furniture that gives it a very homey atmosphere. Rick, Suzanne and Dorothy were great hosts and were very informative about everything related to the Inn as well as surrounding restaurants and wineries to visit. Breakfasts and evening wine and snacks were all freshly prepared and presented. We highly recommend this B&B and will stay here again on our next trip to Monterey. Thanks for a great experience!

The Jabberwock B&B is an amazing place. I was there last year, returned this year and will certainly come back again. Beautifully done rooms. AND the most amazing breakfasts you can imagine …. Alternating between sweet and savoury….. and I can’t really tell which I liked better …. jummie And to top all of it Susanne and Rick are the most amazing hosts you can imagine … really caring for their guests 24/7. My US adapter didn’t fit 😥 so Sue go me fitting one at the store in Carmel and even picked it up for me 🙏 Thank You ❤️

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a longer road trip and were absolutely wowed by this very charming b&b. From initial booking to leaving we had a great experience. The b&b is in a safe area, close to the coastal walk, harbour seal viewing and Pacific Grove, there are also a number of great restaurants and bars nearby. Safe and free off street parking (car park out of use on our visit). Our room had an ocean view (we had booked a garden one, but were given the option to switch at no extra cost as they weren’t at full occupancy). Filtered water and a little decanter of brandy in the room and then a small fridge down a flight of stairs within a little cubby hole for guests to help themselves to bottles water, juices and fizzy drinks. Cookies and tea available 24/7 in the dining area. Wine and appetisers served every evening if you want it, recommend people do this as it’s a great way to meet other people staying there (only a small place so great to chat). Lots of things to look at in all of the rooms which make it the place it is, cute, unique and charming. Breakfast changed everyday and very different to the run of the mill meal. On our second day we had to leave early due to a pre booked excursion , we were left fruit, juice, coffee, breakfast bars and croissants to take with us. A fabulous stay, thank you

We absolutely lived our stay at the very welcoming Jabberwock Inn. Our room had a beautiful view of Monterey Bay. The breakfasts were delicious and creative. Love the wine and appetizers each night and the readily available homemade cookies!My wife and I enjoyed early morning walks through the quiet neighborhood and were so surprised at the wild deer roaming a out!

Charming, quirky boutique guest house. The service was impeccable, Dorothy could not do too much for us. Beds, towels etc extremely comfy. Breakfast was delicious. Wine and cheese each evening and brandy in the room a nice touch. These people clearly know how to provide a wonderful stay, we wished we were there longer!

What can I say about the Jabberwock. The experience was beyond words. The staff was so attentive and the decor was so awesome and beautiful. The view from our room was the ocean and woke up to the sounds of seagulls. Walking distance from almost everything (cannery row, the aquarium, parks and sites). The morning breakfast were delicious and if your an alice in wonderland fan this is your holy mecca. We will definitely bring staying again
