Hotel Xola

They wanted us on the second floor. We insisted on the first floor due to all our stuff needing to be unloaded. Maybe the second floor was refurbished but the room they gave us certainly needed it! The bathroom door had many large church’s of paint missing, red stains on the box spring, my husband saw a roach in the bathroom and the light we wanted to keep on so the bugs wouldn’t feel liberty to come out, automatically shut off. The beds were comfy but everything else was dirty and gross and old feeling. Again, maybe they’re in the middle of remodeling? That’s the Grace I’ll give them. We left early when we saw the bug. We did not get to enjoy our breakfast that was included…but would we want to?

The name sounds impressive - Xola Trademark Collection - but it's just a 2-star hotel, albeit a fairly good one. The neighborhood was sketchy, with the homeless seen onsite twice. We made sure we didn't leave anything in the car overnight. The bed was comfy and the staff friendly.

I book two rooms full of roaches I have the pictures informed staff they had an I don't care attitude told me to spray who travels with bug spray for a hotel very unpleasant stay breakfast was trash a lunch bag full of old fruit and cereal nothing hot rooms in clean service sucks / had a confirmation and they tried charging more /

The bulidings fire alarm kept going on at night that woke us up went on 3 times during the night wasnt able to get sleep because of it . I called the front desk to see if there was a fire and they just said there was no fire it was trigered accidentally. Wouldnt stay there again if i cant get my sleep at a place made to get sleep.

I give 5 stars to the front desk staff that worked the morning and evening shift. They always spoke and greeted you when entering or leaving the hotel. The gentlemen that worked the overnight shift on the morning of 07/18 was pleasant but it took him about 10 minutes to check out a guest. He was swiping a credit card with the chip. I like the hotel of the location. I feel that this would be a wonderful hotel with some updates. The curtains were stained with holes, the towels appeared small, worn and some were stained. The picture advertised for the hotel is either old or another Xola Hotel. It is not the one in Moreno Valley, CA. The vents are rusty and some are bent.

Excellent location, comfortable and quiet room, great A/C, convenient parking, swimming pool and fitness center, daily breakfast – while other hotels have ceased this traveler friendly accommodation. Friendly staff, clean facilities. Restaurant right next door.
