Corfu Maris Bellos

The hotel is not that bad, but it definitely does not deserve 4 stars. It has a nice pool and it's really close to the sea. That's the reason why I give it 2 stars instead of one. The pure evil is happening in the kitchen. All the food produced by the local cook is awful—tasteless and either overcooked or not cooked properly. The "all-inclusive" option makes absolutely no sense in this hotel. The door to our bathroom was made of glass, which doesn't give enough privacy. However, compared to the food, it was a minor issue.

We had booked a hotel called The Hotel Belvedere as soon as we walked in reception we where told we would have to move to a Hotel about a Mile up the road due to a problem with our rooms . They told us we would have to walk despite my Dad being disabled and we had a Child 3 years of age plus heavy luggage for 7 people in 28 degree heat , We refused and got Taxis paid by the Hotel Belvedere , The Hotel Belvedere we had booked had entertainment every night for both children and Adults alike The Hotel Maris Bellos which they sent us too had nothing , apart from a Greek dancing night on the Saturday which was cancelled . Be wary about The Hotel Maris Bellos All inclusive You do not get free Cocktails as we would of done at our booked Hotel Belvedere , You get their Beer and local spirits etc ONLY and on some days they had ran out of the ones you wanted . The Cocktails will cost you £8 Euros each . 2 of the 3 rooms had air conditioning that did not work despite several reports to the desk , So on 2 rooms they had to leave the Patio doors open thus resulting in Ant and Mosquito bites for 7 days . The Snacks advertised where only Cake and Ice Cream , where at The Hotel Belvedere it was Ice Cream cones , Sandwiches , Toast. Cake , The Pool will only let you go in till 8.00pm plus zero entertainment for kids or adults alike .The only plus was The Chef Thomas who could not do enough for us , and the Young Lady on reception who booked us in both Smiling and well mannered .Again on Checking out different person a male they fully expected us to walk with heavy luggage old people and a 3 year old Child a Mile in 28 degree Heat . Until we refused . and where booked taxis to the Belvedere , Which amazed us all ,as the Coach that picked everyone up passed the Hotel Marius Bellos going to the Airport ? If they where being Nice they spoke in English. But if you complained about anything they would switch to Greek between them , a few other people had the same thing moved from the Hotel Belvedere which they had booked for a Holiday with their holiday booking favourite things entertainment and expectations

We had a great time on our vacation, with a stunning view of the sea. We will definitely come back sometime. Special thanks go to our bartender Alex, whom all the kids at the hotel must adore, and who made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Alex!

The property is close to the airport. The room was spacious and properly cleaned daily. Nice staff at the front desk, pool bar and restaurant. Special thanks to Elena, sales manager. Selection of dishes during breakfast, lunch and dinner was well balanced with different selection of vegetable, fruit, side dishes and mains as well as desserts. We had a memorable stay.

Do not ho there very low standarts no aircon in all the hotel exept the room but evem do not working well I cleaned the aircon filters....very poor staff was amaizing helpfull but managment was not at all. Not sand beach rocky and not for kids. Sanitation very poor not good. Entering the hotel big door near road but very daingerus position you cannot see anything blind spot. No life guard...... Views very nice.

Worst experience ever!We paid 7 nights, all-in,from from August 27 until September 3, 2016.From arrival was already a disaster: greeted by apathetic receptionist, he handed us the room key stuck with tape. We went up to the room with an antique lift,very dangerous and unsafe, and when we opened the door to the room, we were hit with the smell of urine!Air conditioning? No way, not working, yellowed shower curtain and stinking of urine,dirty pillows,the floor filthy dirty, stained furniture and old,balcony with broken glass and dangerous split.About food ... disgusting and threatening to do food poisoning,reheated 2-3 times, too salty and too spicy, just do not feel the taste of rancid!And the cherry on the cake, because we wanted to leave earlier, we had to pay another 250 euros (although I paid all in, one week!!!!)Of course, when we asked for the bill or tax receipt, it was immediately made a 10 euro discount and we were given a voucher by hand, initialed and signed by them!Definitely not a 3 star hotel, not even one star! It's a great scam between what it shows and what's true!
