Our stay at the St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort exceeded every possible expectation. We arrived as a couple for a week before Christmas, seeking a warm escape from home, and the weather was simply ideal. You can bask in the sun and achieve a beautiful tan without feeling overwhelmed by the heat. The sea is delightfully warm, requiring no acclimatization. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They anticipate your every desire, often fulfilling them before you even have a chance to voice them. Words can hardly capture the generosity and commitment of the team, who ensure that every moment of your stay is steeped in luxury. At the pool and beach—which are interconnected and stunning, with crystal-clear seawater—guests are treated to complimentary mocktails, smoothies, lemonades, and fruit skewers every 60 to 90 minutes. Sunbeds and umbrellas are meticulously reset multiple times throughout the day to ensure optimal comfort. We’re taking home countless unique stories that reflect the team's natural instincts—a sensibility that goes beyond standard training. When my partner fell ill with a cold and a high fever, the staff quickly noticed his absence and arranged special ginger-lemon-honey drinks delivered directly to our room, understanding our preference for natural remedies over doctors. For the next two and a half days, about ten team members inquired about his condition and were ready to assist whenever needed. They noticed his love for reading and assured us they'd find more books if he ran out. On my solo trip to the mosque, they organized a taxi and driver to accompany me for three hours, free of charge, ensuring I wasn’t alone. As I headed to the taxi, they made sure I had an abaya, which is mandatory to wear. The gestures were endless—one of my shirts was returned from pressing with a note explaining a small damage they'd found and repaired, asking for my permission beforehand. This is still not everything. We must particularly highlight two extraordinary members of the recreation staff at the pools, Elyas and his manager, Mr. Kinya Collins. They became friends during our stay, impressing us with their incredible ability to anticipate our needs and bring laughter and joy. If there were masterclasses in hospitality, they should be the ones teaching them. Their positivity, resourcefulness, and kindness, all delivered with unique personal flair, are unmatched and undoubtedly come from the heart. Both excel in their profession and are exceptional human beings. Their teamwork and genuine enjoyment in their roles left us wishing we could adequately repay the exceptional experience they provided. As someone working in HR, I’d wholeheartedly support their promotion—St. Regis is fortunate to have them enhancing this iconic brand's reputation. The resort's restaurants are first-class. We dined at many, but Em Sherif, the Lebanese restaurant, was fantastic, boasting a dreamlike design and cuisine that speaks for itself. I could go on, but
