We just spent 4 wonderful nights in this lovely b and b that offers everything you need. The newly renovated room was modern, very clean and very comfortable with a small fridge. A de longhi nespresso machine was provided with excellent Italian coffee. It had a shared kitchen with microwave, utensils, dishes and lots of extra cookies and breakfast sweets. The Vomero neighborhood, situated above the historic area of Napoli, is very safe and family oriented. Lots of shops, cafes, bakeries, pharmacies, delis etc, as well as non touristy restaurants offering delicious authentic meals at reasonable prices. There is one set of stairs from the sidewalk to the entrance of the building with an elevator inside to take you to your room. According to Google maps, the walk to the funicolare Centrale is 18 minutes. Once there, in just a few minutes you'll be deposited into the heart of the historic centre for only 1.30 euro. In 13 minutes walk, you'll arrive at the local metro station, quattro Giornate, which will take you directly to the museum of archaeology and other tourist areas. If walking these distances is difficult for you, your host, Anna, will arrange a taxi for you. The most important feature of this b and b, however, is Anna. She is a true Neopolitan angel who will provide you with the best service and assistance you have encountered. She and her husband Paolo greeted us and offered so many tips and recommendations to enjoy our first visit to Napoli and the Vomero area. Anna helped us sort out our lost reservation with Alilauro and made taxi arrangements for us when we left. Anna is passionate about Naples and offers a 3 hour food and culture tour which we highly recommend. A perfect way to start our visit! When we left, we felt we had made a new friend. Grazie Anna!
