This hotel was ok for the money. Pool had a green tint to it, so I decided for both my daughter and I not to use it.
The main issue I had with this hotel, which is the reason why I would not go back, is that on Saturday morning they refused to allow me to get breakfast even though I was in line for waffles prior to 9:00 AM. I got two bowls of cereal and an apple and was waiting in line with two persons ahead of me for the waffle machine. I decided to try to get some orange juice while waiting and the waitstaff had already taken the dispenser nozzles off the machine. I asked the front desk if they would replace it. I was told I was late and that breakfast was closed. I informed him that I was in line waiting for waffles. After a brief argument, he told the waitstaff to bring back the nozzles so I could get juice. They never did. I went back into line for the waffle machine. The waffle batter was running low by the time the second person in line finished up. Instead of refilling it, the waitstaff pulled the batter from the machine and took it back to the kitchen. When I asked if they were coming back so I could have two waffles, the front desk again stated that I was late for breakfast and refused service. He stated that he could prove on video that I was late.
I demanded to see this proof. He started playing the video, but the time stamp was not accurate. I stated, "therefore you cannot prove I was late." I asked to talk to the manager. He called the manager, because he was not on site, and proceeded to talk in a foreign language with the managed. After a few minutes, I was told that the manager is refusing service and would not do anything. I advised that the easy way to resolve the situation would be to allow 2 glasses of orange juice and 2 waffles. They refused to do anything. Therefore, I had to take my daughter to a restaurant to get breakfast. I am going to seek to have the hotel pay for the receipt for this breakfast.
I called Wyndam customer care regarding the situation. They took my information and stated I would get a call back in a week. Instead of calling me in that time frame, they send me an email a week and a day later and stated that I had to contact the local manager and provided his phone number.
Additionally, on the Sunday morning, I was able to get breakfast, but I have photographic proof that they allowed other after 9:00 AM to get breakfast. This proof shows that they did not break down breakfast until 09:15 AM.
This is the worst customer experience I have ever had at any hotel I have ever stayed at. If you are expecting to be treated like a paying guest, do not use this hotel. Additionally, I will think twice about using another Wyndam property again.
