Comfort Suites Natchitoches

When I called, I specifically asked if the hot tub was working as the ad said hot tub. Upon check-in we were told only one room had a jacuzzi, no general use hot tub. When we came back from dinner, it was raining, the lobby by the covered entrance was locked because the floor was being mopped, so we had to walk around the hotel in the rain to another entrance. After breakfast our room key wouldn't work, went down to have it rekeyed, still wouldn't work, attendant had to come up and open door for us. On the plus, the hot breakfast was wonderful and the room was very comfortable.

Second time to stay here... and once again a cut above. This was a nice enough location I'd be glad to bring my wife. That's how I judge hotels... good enough for my work crew or nice enough for my wife. This location is wife-worthy! Comfortable beds, courteous workers, nice in every way. We'll be back!

We are extremely pleased w the accommodation! Not only is this hotel clean, spacious and quiet it is superbly comfortable! Beds and pillows are of the highest quality! we’ve stayed at each of the other hotels off the interstate and this one TOPS THE CHART! We will be back next time we pass through Natchitoches!

The room was updated, clean, spacious and comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and featured eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, cereals, fruits, juices and coffee - hot and tasteful - Plenty of seating. Great location and friendly check-in!

Front desk person was polite and professional. Room was a nice size, clean and comfortable. Temperature was good and adjustable. Bed was on softer side but comfortable. Easy on easy off to highway but did not hear highway noise. Breakfast buffet had various hot and cold choices. Price point for the stay is fair. The only disappointment we had was they refused to open the fitness center 15 minutes early so we could get our daily walk in before we had to get on the road. The hotel advertised a fitness center available. When we arrived at the fitness center at 5:45 am there was a sign posted with hours 6:00 am - 10:00 pm. We requested to have the door open 15 minutes early and the young ladies comment was, “I cannot open it early it doesn’t open until 6:00 am, they won’t let us open it any earlier.” If that is true than Comfort Suites may want to rethink their business goals regarding hospitality and service. When looking for a place to stay for the night one of the things I looked for was a fitness center. It was advertised as having one but then it was closed when we wanted to use it. We went outside and walked around the building on uneven pavement and in the heat of the southern morning which was fine, we got our work out in. But because they refused hospitality and to be accommodating we will not stay at this particular hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel last night. After a couple hiccups our stay was flawless. I have to start with the convenient location off the interstate. Now it's a couple miles from the charming downtown area but for us that was fine. I have to commend the front desk staff. Our check in and communications with them went off without a hitch, both gals went above and beyond. I wish I would have gotten their names. Our room was great, comfortable, large and everything we needed. We had a bit of trouble with the wifi, but that got ironed out after a couple hours. They actually had a breakfast which was nice. I would definitely stay there again!

We were a group of 9 with four rooms at this Comfort Suites. The bathrooms in three rooms were not clean. One room had a broken television, and they were quickly moved to another room. Our room had a broken iron, that was replaced. We have stayed in many Comfort Suites over the last few years. I would not recommend this one. At this time, cleanliness did not appear to be a priority. Employee staffing in the hospitality industry has taken a hit the last two years, and this hotel appeared understaffed. The location to downtown Natchitoches was convenient.

Do yourself a favor and do not stay here! There are other options. These reviews are deceiving. 1/2 of our ac/ heater worked. Window coverings are disgusting and they even left push pins for you to pin the curtain to the wall. Mold on ceiling in bathroom. Sheets never changed (we know because my husband spilled a tad bit of coffee). The sheets were not even changed when we first arrived. Someone’s hair and the imprint of others were on the bed. We scratched all night. Just go to a neighboring hotel. Preferably not one owned by the same group. This should be rated 1/2 star hotel.
