We spent out first two nights in Namibia at Namibgrens in Villa 4. The villa was stunning, built into the rocks with amazing panoramas from the huge bedroom and the separate kitchen/sitting room. We were so pleased we had a second night here. We had a very relaxing second day, enjoying the peace and the wonderful views, taking it all in and having a dip in the pool, watched from a distance by the baboons. The food was excellent and Kalf and Sandra, our hosts, helped by lovely Sunday, looked after us very well.

We loved our stay at Namibgrens. The villa was spacious, clean, comfortable and private. The kitchen was well equipped. The rooms had great amenities and were relaxing and very comfortable with wonderful views. We loved riding our mountain bikes on the property and explored the area with ease.

Our stay was a bubble of dream. The villa was wonderful with all facilities. People were very nice. The sunrise view from the bed was incredible. No regret to escape from our main road to stay one night there. One regret, not having enough time for a second night.

Sadly we only had one night camping at Namibgrens but the surroundings were absolutely stunning and the spacing of the pitches allows you to feel that you have your very own piece of wilderness. Baboons nearby when showering was slightly disconcerting but really only adds to the experience. Friendly and welcoming host. Don't forget your toilet roll! Thank you for having us, highly recommend staying here.

We had a stopover here on the way from Windhoek to the dunes. We stayed in one of the self-catering units but ate dinner and breakfast at the farm. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the location was wonderful. We really enjoyed the food and would definitely return.

We camped at Namibgrens and were so happy to have been recommended this spot. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The campsite was very clean and had fantastic facilities. We had plenty of space, a fantastic camp fire, our own shower and toilet facilities. We would love to return and wholeheartedly recommend.

Breathtaking location and architecture. Stones composed into spacious villas make a unique impression. Impeccable linens, very hospitable and welcoming staff, inc. the owner (additional plus - she loves dogs). I do appreciate a nice gift - a book on self-drive safaris in Namibia. A must-see place on your way through Namibia. BTW, and ideal place to watch scenic sunrise and hyrax. Love it! Izabela, Poland

What an amazing place! Namibgrens far exceeded our expectations. We only stayed for 1 night. What a mistake! The rooms are enormous, tastefully designed with fantastic views. The same applies to the enormous kitchen and entertainment area, a separate house/cottage. All rooms are separate cottages. Some of them have a couple of steps to climb, so you need to be able to carry your luggage, too. The bathroom/shower area is incredibly well done, having included the surrounding boulders. The large king size beds were super comfortable and so was the cotton linen. Would have liked to do some hiking, but the trails are currently being remarked, due to new ownership. Can't wait to get back to Namibgrens, to hike and to also try their homecooked food and bread.
