Wow - just wow! The short story: extended USA family 5 day stay, hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and competent. Laura with the gorgeous smile supplied the early morning coffee. Breakfast was superb, and the afternoon pastry was to die for. Outdoor pool, indoor sauna, and playground were frequently enjoyed. A scrumptious varied multi-course dinner, served by Phillip, closed each day. --- The full story --- What a great time my extended USA family had during our 5 day stay. Registration was smooth, and we received a full packet of what to do in the valley. Also, each guest receives a Stubenaier Valley pass, that gets you into some of the paid activities (such as the Alpine Slide, a family favorite), and free bus rides during your stay (which we all used). A typical day: mornings Laura with the gorgeous smile provided take-away filtered coffee. Then breakfast, served by Phillip, who was always so friendly, engaging, and helpful. The breakfast offering was varied with fresh fruit, eggs, baked goods, cold cuts and specialty coffee. Afterwards the children enjoyed the playground, which was designed to reflect alpine life. Then off to some family adventure. Returned mid-afternoon for a visit to the new outdoor pool with its bubble machine, followed by a visit to the spa with its variety of saunas and a steam room. Late afternoon we'd wander into the afternoon treat of pastries and other snacks. For adults the bar was open. Finally, dinner. Our family had its own table, and Phillip always greeted us on arrival. Adults started with mixed drinks: Martinis, Negronis, and their own mixed drinks - all excellent. Dinner offerings were multi-course with many options, with an optional pause between courses. Every dinner was excellent - haute cuisine. Dinner included a salad bar with specially prepared marinated items. Dessert changed every night and included a large selection of cheeses.
