The hotel is very clean. The room was as well. The amenities are the usual and up to standard. Breakfast was very good and the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was also very clean and the beds were comfortable. Parking was free and quite plentiful.

Clean, comfortable stay. Excellent customer service. Bed was super comfortable. Bath products were Dove and were nice. All the good predicable HIExpress you’d expect including breakfast. Stayed here while en route elsewhere. Great stay!

I was looking for a comfortable place to stay with a family. We ended up booking two rooms at Holiday Inn Express Gibson/New Milford and we were not disappointed. The check-in was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious, each with a refrigerator and a microwave. And we enjoyed the pool on the very first night. One thing we did not have to worry about was breakfast. Two choices of omelets, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, pancakes, juices, coffee, tea, sweets... Based on my experience with American hotels this is a high-end breakfast. We sort of experienced a minor issue with the AC/heating unit, which seemed to have a mind of its own when you first turn it on. We never quite figured it out, but ultimately it worked correctly. I would say the only real problem is that there is nothing else in the area. It's basically an exit off Route 81 with a gas station, a convenience store, McDonald's, pizzeria and Denny's. You have to drive at least 30 minutes to anything interesting.

One of the best Holiday Inn or comparable hotels that I’ve stayed at. Complete hot breakfast. Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable bed, high quality sheets, fast checkin and fresh baked cookies at checkin. Nothing more could be asked for.

Clean, comfortable ~ everything was perfect! Outstanding customer service. Cheerful Amber & Nancy @ front desk went out of their way to place me in the "just right" room. Friendly & efficient, check-in was quick & easy. Bathroom spotless with lots of granite counter space. Fridge/micro & in-room Keurig. Easily accessible bedside & desk top outlets for charging electronics. Slept well on very comfortable bed with lovely linens & lots of fluffy pillows, both firm & soft. Beautifully manicured park like setting. Standard continental breakfast was well tended. Left out feeling refreshed & will definitely be back :-D

We stayed two nights in this hotel while visiting friends who live in the area. It’s a very clean hotel. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing a field so very quiet. Room was spacious. Beds and pillows were comfy. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of hot selections as well as cereal etc. My husband wanted fried potatoes but was told they are only offered on the weekends. Pool was clean & the perfect temperature for a swim. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The fresh baked cookies were a nice touch. I’d definitely stay here again.

First let me say that I've stayedin several Holiday Inns before. My husband and I were not expecting to make our first stop (of a 9 day trip) in Pennsylvania. We live in PA - 4 hours away. However, my husband and I didn't want to drive another half hour to our first stop - Binghamton NY. Denny's was nearby.... I sat in the car while my husband went in to see if there was a room available. Had I gone in with him I would have said no way. The elevator was broken and I'm disabled. We decided to go eat dinner and then get to our room on the 3rd floor. I was wiped out by the time we got to the room. I went straight to the chair at the desk area to sit down. I pulled out the chair and what do I see? A pair of dirty men's underwear!! I went to the other chair and called down to the desk. I asked if someone could come up to take them away? She said that it would have to be her and she did come up. She apologized and said that before I left in the morning to please speak to the manager. Now, I forget where but somewhere in the room was a card. "Rest Easy. Our commitment to high levels of cleanliness is backed by our Clean Promise. If your room is not cleaned to your satisfaction when you check in, please contact the front desk and we promise to make it right." On the IHG website it states "With the IHG® Clean Promise, guests are reassured that: Good isn’t good enough – we’re committed to high levels of cleanliness. That means clean, well maintained, clutter free rooms that meet our standards. If this isn’t what you find when you check-in then we promise to make it right." Well I went to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager as directed to. The woman at the front desk said that the manager was on the phone and what was it about or how could she help. I forget. I told her my name and room number and she knew straight away why I was there. She told me that it had been discussed and that half price was the solution. I said okay even though I was a bit upset that the manager didn't think I was important enough to speak to - once she got off the phone of course. My husband and I had a pretty good breakfast as Holiday Inn Express' breakfast is very filling. All of the staff that I did see were very nice. Now, I didn't not see the receipt until later that day. It wasn't half off and the adjustment reason on the receipt was "Guest found article of clothing in room." In my opinion socks or a shirt or any clean item would fall under that generic description, NOT NASTY USED UNDERWEAR!.. Had someone from Housekeeping pulled out the chair when they were vacuuming Housekeeping would be the one to find those underwear instead of me. Because the breakfast was above average and all the staff that I encountered were nice I didn't give a Terrible rating. I think all that stayed at the hotel with a broken elevator should have had an adjusted rate. Before the adjustment the price would have been $156.96. We stayed at two othe
