Dew Drop Inn

The room very good. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The employees were so nice. We have stayed there twice and never disappointed. This is a jewel in the city. It was very clean and the shower was very good. It is easy to make reservations.

We enjoyed a getaway at the inn. We were greeted by smiling and helpful faces. We stayed in the Huey “Piano Man” Smith room. It was a perfect size for us. The room was very tidy. We loved the decor, the history and the museum next door. The front desk attendant also took us on a fabulous tour of the hotel. And the unexpected surprise was free entry to the connected lounge to enjoy the brass band concert. Be prepared to hear the love music in your room if there is an event occurring during your stay. We didn’t mind it all and felt it was in keeping with its original intent. We plan to return. We even purchased a t shirt to commemorate our stay!

My husband and I stayed there during Mardi Gras 2024. Housekeeping stole a very expensive price of jewelry. The owner apologized and promised to compensate us to did not. If you value your belongings and piece of mind. You wouldn't stay there.

Central city isn’t always the most comfortable place to hang out but we gave this adorable place a shot and we loved it. We had no problems and never felt unsafe here. The entire room was spotless and the bathroom was spacious. The bed was really comfortable too. The price couldn't be beat for being so close to the CBD. It was a few minutes uber ride away. Off street parking was not a problem, either. The jazz musician-themed rooms were a great idea too! The jazz bar was never loud enough to bother us, but the front desk had ear plugs out, which was thoughtful of them. I would absolutely stay here again. We didn’t use the pool but it was a really cute set up!

What a phenomenal experience. The accommodations have such an impactful way of bringing history and culture into the design and overall experience of staying at the Inn. Great service, value, learning, design and just overall joy. We live in New Orleans and relished the opportunity to stay here as a stay-cation!

What a cute little hotel/boutique place. Enriched in black jazz history & other characters that have helped shaped some of our music. Check-in went very smooth. There is no elevator as there was no elevator back then as well. So 2nd floor is steps up, but they have a small incline even with a big luggage. Our room had 2 double beds and the decor colors and design was pleasing. The bathroom was nice and updated. The towel were fluffy and big. The offer a soap and shampoo/conditioner for your body and hair and we looked up the brand & it’s not a cheap brand they offer. It had a nice pleasant smell too. We utilize the restaurant foods from the pool area and it was delicious. The spinach dip and the homemade chips were really good. The bartender made our drink just right as well. The bar next to the hotel could be heard at night, but they must have a cut off cause by midnight I didn’t hear it anymore. You can attend the club and enjoy it downstairs with the other guest or tune in from your room. Overall we really liked the little hotel. It’s not in the best area as of right now, but over time I think the area will be better. Parking is off site and on the street. Next time we come in to town we will come back. It is with in 10 min of the bourbon street activities. About 20 min to the airport.
