We had our wedding here on the 25th July and I couldn’t recommend this venue enough from the minute we booked it the staff where fantastic to the day itself where nothing was too much bother for them, I have never came across better staff ever an absolute credit to the place. As for the food, 3 weeks on and people are still talking about it, everything was fantastic and roasting hot. We will never be able to thank you all enough for all you’ve done to contribute to the best day of our lives!

We recently celebrated my mums 70th birthday.. with a meal . First of all the surroundings are fabulous.The staff Niall and Co , where absolutely fantastic, the best and most attentive staff I have ever witnessed. The food was absolutely fabulous , fresh and beautifully presented . Thank you for a fabulous evening .. five stars from us all .

Arrived here for one night before we headed to Belfast, and I would highly recommend it. Caroline, who we met at reception, is a credit to the hotel, such a wonderful person with a great sense of humour. She was the highlight of our stay. We booked a Superior Double room but on arrival were given an upgrade to room 201, which was gorgeous. The bathroom was huge, and the bed was so comfortable. We didn't have food in the hotel, so we can't comment on that however, we did have a few drinks at the bar, which is gorgeous. If you are staying in Newry, I would definitely recommend Flagstaff Lodge.

Where do I start, what a great hotel! The staff were the some of the most hospitable, friendly, helpful people I have had the pleasure in meeting. The food was absolutely outstanding- the breakfast was best I’ve EVER had in a hotel! ( I stay in a lot of hotels due to my work) Also the coffee was really good !! Everywhere in the hotel was immaculately clean and room was very comfortable. Really up to date furnishings and again spotlessly clean. Needless to say I will certainly be staying here again !! Thanks to all at the Flagstaff !

I was travelling to Dublin with my wife & 2 kids and we stayed here the night before. It was a great place to stay, the room was massive and the bathroom was enormous. The room was spotless and the beds were all comfy. We hadn't booked dinner but we were fitted in at the Bistro without any fuss. The food was lovely and enjoyed by all. Great place to stay and we would 100% stay here again.

What a wonderful place to stay. The welcome is warm and the room and food superb. Thank you to all the wonderful staff especially Caroline what a gem. With gastric problems I left healthier than I arrived. Would highly recommend hope to be back in the future.

I had a short stay from 5pm to 8am, but enough to have dinner, a great sleep and solid brekkie. I'm leaving a review solely due to Caroline on reception who gave the warmest welcome and was so helpful, dedicated and kind. What a wonderful person to greet anyone staying. Thanks for a great stay.

I stayed here for the first time on a business trip yesterday and it’s amazing. On arrival I was greated by a lovely lady (Caroline as I asked her later in the eve as she was so lovely) who knew my name before I’d even said it (maybe as I was the last to arrive as was in the evening but none the less very impressed). The hotel itself is in a beautiful location, the room was really big with a massive comfy bed (and an extra single). It was beautifully decorated with quality furnishings and bedding etc and was spotlessly clean. The room smelt lovely when I walked in too with the room fragrances they had around the room. I had room service as it was late ish and I wanted to relax and had the chicken supreme which was delicious. It was genuinely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had and such brilliant value for the price. I will most definitely be staying here again next time I’m in NI for work

Rooms are first class with the best of finishes and spotless clean. Food is fantastic especially the 'CHAMP' and would highly recommend the roast beef. Bar staff are very efficient and uber friendly, especially Caroline. Gary the owner is a great guy and on site day and night involving himself with guests either for a chat or a pint (depending on the time of day). All in all, a very, very nice place to stay and I for one will be using this little gem everytime I'm in NI. THANKS Flagstaff team for a very enjoyable and memorable stay! 👍
