Really welcoming experience from start to finish staff really friendly had lunch and the server really went out of his way to make sure my partner was accommodated as she is gluten free / celiac was very busy but the food came out hot and fresh really good value The room was very peaceful despite being above the bar clean and tidy and had a great nights sleep one tiny tiny thing on your website it says all rooms have smart tvs this wasn’t the case with ours just a standard tv no HD or any access to Netflix or iPlayer etc As I said a tiny issue and not a problem for us but can imagine it being so for more fussy guests Breakfast was really really nice and again taking great care to make sure my partner was aware of the gluten free etc well done to all at the white hart we will be back

Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding nearby. Staff were friendly and the restuarant and bar were both good. There are rooms situated in the inn itself and an external building. I stayed in the external building and the room was great. From talking to friends the rooms in the external building seem to be better than the ones in the main building. The room was fully kitted out including both a kettle and coffee maker. The only issues would be you could here the upstairs residents moving about and the mattresses were quite hard but these are minor issues.

White Hart Ford is a magical place! Surrounded by nature and good vibes! We felt like we were in a fairy tale. All the services were excellent!!! I would come back to this place again and again. Super grateful for the nice detail they had with me! They are the best!

My husband brought me here for my birthday, firstly what a stunning location but unfortunately that was the only thing that was stunning! The food was absolutely terrible the pie had a raw pastry top and the inside resembled a soup and to go with it was a very strange colored instant mash with cold veg , my husband had the steak which he also found hard to eat as it came smothered in mint , I did complain and the pie was removed from the bill and the lovely waiter did not seem shocked that the food was awful so I take it they must get lots off complaints.... Come on white hart get yourself a decent chef

Just a lovely experience in every way. Very aesthetically pleasing, terrific service, great food, all nestled in a lovely hamlet with access to more bucolic wonder in the Cotswolds. One of the nicest aspects was stumbling upon a relatively unpopulated hike up a country road to nearby Slaughterford. Utterly delightful.

Faultless service, lovely comfortable room in an idyllic location and delicious food. The staff were warm and welcoming and we enjoyed the breakfasts and an evening meal as well as sitting by the river with a cup of tea. The rooms were quaint with decent coffee machine and comfortable bed

Sorry but the service at this place is below standard. Went for dinner with a few friends on a Saturday night and found it not very busy. Waited some time to order drinks and was told all the various items that were not available, which was quite a few. Food OK if a bit underwhelming but it was the items that when ordered, we were told they are amazing, only then to be told they’d run out.. It all seemed rather chaotic and it wasn’t very busy. I could go on but shan’t. Such a shame and this place needs some serious work.

The staff were amazing and made the stay so special and wonderful. It was a special 40th early wedding anniversary restay following our honeymoon here. Food was great and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom spacious and bed comfy, the bathroom great with separate shower and bath. Very clean. Thank you all.

Very friendly welcome received on checking in. Dinner was nice, had the veggie roast which was very nice, maybe some more traditional veg like broccoli and carrots would have been a bonus but was very nice anyway. Stayed in a room in the cottage opposite. Room was a great size, big comfy bed and nice furnishings. Had a large bathroom with choice of shower and bath. There was a slight smell of drains but wasn't too bad. Breakfast was very tasty and accommodated something that I requested. Was also a good choice of cereal and pastries. Lovely location and traditional cosy pub. I would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you for a lovely all round stay .
