Moon Palace Jamaica

My mom has been wanting to go to this hotel for a while now so I decided to give her a surprise treat. We loved the atmosphere and that there was so much to do in terms of activities. They had water activities, gaming room, surfing pool, slide etc. We had a really good time. The only disappointment was the food, it was like a challenge to find something that we really like. The food was really a hit or miss and most times was a miss. That would be my only suggestion for improvement really. The drinks were just ok, nothing special. The coffee shop was ok as well, loved that it was 24 hours. Would return if the food is improved. The welcome party was also warm and inviting with the rose and champagne, that was a nice touch.

This summer was my first trip to Jamaica with an amazing friend and her family and when I say that I had the BEST TIME, I truly mean that!! We spent time at the beach, the pool, went on a private boat, swam with the dolphins, and met some amazing folks on the staff that tended to every single need we had while we were there! Two of my favorite pool concierges were Ms. Nikki (Holgate) and Shaun (Pottinger). They made our stay such a memorable experience. From helping us with umbrellas, to getting cabanas, to providing us with refreshing drinks and delicious food, I am so glad we found a spot on the beach where we met them and made friends! There was never a dull moment at this place and I promise that I will be back! My friend’s husband planned the whole trip out and all of the folks who helped us get checked in, shared info with us on where we could find things, helped us book spa sessions, and a million other things were simply the best! From George, to Nashwell, to Tiffany, to Travis and Brianna on the boat, what an amazing experience!! Thank you all to the staff at Moon Palace for helping me create core memories!! I’ll be back!!!!

This hotel was amazing. Been to Jamaica many times but this was my first experience at moon palace. Food was 10/10 - I looked forward to going to the restaurant all the time. Guy at the swim up bar made us these special shots which was out of this world. We swam with the dolphins at the hotel. The beach was beautiful Staff very attentive Rooms were adequate although we didn’t have a balcony- just doors which open out for air /view which was disappointing. They have ice machine on each floor which I liked. Town is within walking distance I didn’t like the way they try to sell you to become an executive and give you credits ….. the spa was very pricey but beautiful. They have a games room which will keep Children and adults entertained for hours - and it’s free. They even provide snacks like popcorn and ice cream.

Every body is so kind, especially Triena. If you are looking for an awesome vacation I would definitely recommend moon palace jamaica. Honestly, Jamaica is amazing so beautiful and awesome. This landscape is very beautiful and homey. If you are looking for the best pictures ever here is the place.

Loren Hammit is a true person. All respect to Loren and his team. He taken the time to help you and understand you. I would visit Jamaica again just to see this person. I had an issue with what I purchased from the sales team but he went out of his way to educate and explain everything to me. Thank you

What a wonderful holiday we had at Moon Palace, Jamaica at end of July for 11 days. We had walk-out rooms in the cabana building which were very clean, light and spacious with comfy beds and very convenient to get everywhere around the hotel. We were a family group of 7 including 2 teenagers. We found all the staff very welcoming, cheerful, very helpful, efficient and charming and very patient with fussy teenage food wishes. We used the app to book the a la carte restaurants each night and had no problems and easily booked a table every evening. We also found the boulangerie great, serving ice cream, chocolates, crepes, coffee and milk shakes which was open 11 hours a day. The staff were so friendly. Far too much temptation in there! We did a trip to climb Dunne falls which was a lot of fun. My son and the three kids did a PADI scuba diving course with Rob who was excellent. They had the opportunity to dive down to a shipwreck as well as a coral reef. Gym was also popular. Although we had no problem getting deck chairs and umbrellas, it would have been useful with a few more umbrellas available. However pools were great and right next to lovely sandy beach with plenty of deckchairs.

I am currently staying at the Moon Palace and the accommodations are terrible. This hotel is very substandard to the other hotels contrary to what they lead on to the hotel is nothing like what they say. The rooms are tiny with no luxury amenities. My room has the view of the back of a building. I can’t latch my patio door for protection so I had to put a chair in front of it. The doors have landings so we’re constantly stubbing our toes. The ceilings are leaking water. There is trash and trays up and down the hallway being left out. I have never been to a resort in Jamaica that didn’t have butlers on each floor to remove the food trays. I’m a travel agent and I booked 20 other people… you would think they would be willing to make changes for me….No! I went to the front desk. The agent gave me two keys to check out two different rooms. One was nice but she wanted me to pay an extra $1080 and the other one was filthy. The dirty one was $290 to upgrade. One of the parties that I booked has been here for a week prior to me arriving, and was told that they were not able to get into the restaurants to eat so they have had to eat at a buffet all week long because of their shoes. She also had a room infested by ants and the front desk agent said it’s standard for Jamaica this time of year. I come here every year and I never had ants. Took them 3 days to change the room. I wish I had came earlier to change my party to another resort. When trying to call for help the phone line were down. I went to the o downstairs there was a line to complain. After waiting for 20 minutes they took my number for the manager….he never called . I went back down but there was more people with complaints. He still hasn’t called I also called prior to arrival to confirm transportation but when I When I arrived my name was not on the schedule. Book somewhere else!!!!
