Howard Johnson by Wyndham Oklahoma City Airport/ Fairgrounds

The first contract with staff was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Tried to charge me a 2nd time for the room that I already paid for. Was rude when talking to me, talked over me and wouldn't allow me to vintage anything that I was saying. I was told that I could NOT even have someone knock on my door or I would get kicked out. Not sure yet if I will return to this hotel.

This is an old property but has been updated nicely with a cool, 60s vibe. The place feels reasonably secure as the rooms are accessed from inside. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The room large with a sliding door onto a neatly kept courtyard with a clean pool. The staff were friendly. Our biggest surprise was the quality and variety of the breakfast, the breakfast space and the prep kitchen (which we could see when staff went in) which was restaurant quality fixtures all the way. There were eggs, sausage, cottage potatoes, waffles, some fruit. The quality of breakfast you might see at a Hampton. But this is possibly the least expensive hotel we've stayed in for years. An unbelievable value. We stayed on our trip out west and again on the return. If we're back out that way, we will stay here again.

Nice staff and property. Patrons should be more respectful of other patrons and the property. The property provides pet bags and an area to pick up after your animal yet not too many people do. It's a shame. Well maintained property and nice staff.

This was by far a bad experience. Although I know it's not the properties fault it's just where the location of the hotel is that makes it a bad experience. I stayed there with my mom 9/13-9/16 2024. My mom's truck got broken into on Friday night along with 7 other vehicles. Other than that the front desk crew was very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was stocked and nice variety of items. The rooms were clean, could use a updated but overall was clean. I booked with my Wyndham rewards. Although I'm disappointed that when I do stay at a Wyndham property I'm not getting points for staying.

This hotel suited my needs. Pleasant, clean and quiet. Love it. Would recommend. The staff are amazing.

Put my mom up in this hotel after a very long day and a cancelled flight (thank you Frontier airlines). The gentleman at the front desk was SO helpful and accommodating and really made her stay (I wish I had gotten his name)! 10/10 for customer service.
