Bom, não há melhor hotel pra ter uma experiência especial em Monument Valley. Principalmente se vc escolher as cabanas premium sem obstrução na vista. É realmente impactante dormir e acordar com aquela vista. E isso compensa todas as falhas do hotel. Se vc ficar por uma ou duas noites, apenas. A cabana é simples, mas aconchegante. Tem um bom ar condicionado. Microondas e frigobar. Mas, não é permitido cozinhar no local. Como sabíamos disso, levamos toda nossa comida pronta e cafe da manha. Entretanto, não há pratos, talheres ou copos no quarto. Foi preciso levar tudo. E não é simples comprar nada disso. Trouxemos de Sedona. A cidade mais próxima é Tuba City e fica ha 30 minutos do hotel. Não é permitida a venda de bebidas alcoolicas, então trouxemos nosso vinho e cerveja. Não ha opcoes razoaveis de comida na regiao do parque. Tudo bem ruim. O cafe da manha deles é sofrível. Terrível. Ainda bem que levamos o nosso! Os funcionários são ok. Esteja pronto para uma das experiencias mais lindas se conseguir desapegar da qualidade dos serviços. Infelizmente, eles deixam muito a desejar. Ainda assim, é a melhor opcao perto do outro hotel da região. La sim, tudo é sofrível.

O quarto é ok, mas péssimo para um hotel que custa mais de 400 dolares a diaria. A vista é linda, mas nao compensa o serviço pessimo, de todos os funcionarios. A comida nem se fala, é incomivel. Comemos e passamos a noite inteira com dor no estomago, muito muito ruim mesmo.

I’ve read many reviews on this hotel and you have to remember that you came for the view! It doesn’t matter about much else on your stay, the views are everything and more. We ate dinner in the restaurant and were surprised that it was much better than the ratings. We didn’t order anything fancy but what we ate was good. The price was a little high but your options are limited, remember you’re in the middle of nowhere. Pull up a chair on the patio or your balcony to sit back, relax, and enjoy!

The room is not lit very well, it is clean should be two star! The evening food is terrible avoid at all costs, surprisingly the continental breakfast is ok! Alcohol is prohibited in this area so you won’t be having a glass of wine with your rubbish meal. The view is impressive but this was gods work not the hotels.

Stayed here for two nights over Memorial Day. I loved it. I am weird about hotels and hotel rooms and I felt totally comfortable here!! The view is beyond anyone's wildest dreams. Very spacious room that was super clean, comfortable bed, nice linens, and really nice and clean and large bathroom. So much pride is displayed at this property. Always being cleaned. One super bonus was that they show John Ford's The Searchers on the wall outside at night - so cool!! I was up for sunrise, moonrise and sunset - just wonderful. I was solo so this was a splurge and it was worth it. Loved having an ice machine down the hall, too. I think the only thing missing that I would have liked was a screen door to the balcony. That would have been great. Can't wait to go back, and in different seasons!

Pricey. Great views of the valley from most any room but the higher the room the more you pay. Room 230 was probably the best on the 2nd floor and was huge. Room was very clean. Couch was worn and bed mattress badly in need of replacement. Pillows very hard. Housekeeping Staff very friendly. Restaurant ok but only other option within a reasonable drive is Gouldings which we felt was better although neither one is for foodies. Family friendly.

We needed to cancel one month in advance. Cancelation policy takes 25% of your cost 6 weeks in advance. Crazy policy. Make sure your plans cannot possibly change when booking this place, or be aware you will pay 25% of the total cost if you need to change for any reason.

Nearly cried when I saw ‘the view’ from our room… yes, it’s expensive for what is a fairly basic room, but you are RIGHT THERE looking at the mittens for as long as you want!! Sunset, sunrise, anytime, all wrapped up on your own balcony… comfy and with coffee and a loo on tap The room was absolutely fine. Large, clean and comfy. Fridge to keep any food you bring in fresh and air con if you need it. Breakfast was a bit of a zoo (people wise), but good enough (boiled eggs, sausages, muffins, cereal, fruit, toast and coffee). We did the Wildcat Trail at about 1700 and had it pretty much to ourselves. It was as magical as I’d hoped it would be.

The View Hotel is unsurpassed in Monument Valley. It sits on the edge of an area so that all the rooms have an unbelievable view. The service was good and everyone was friendly. Of course, we were friendly and thankful to them also. The breakfast buffet is small and limited but certainly had enough to fill you up. The dinner menu is not expansive but we found the food good. Our top items were the green chile stew and the green chile quesadilla. We did stop at Goulding' Lodge for lunch. It had a bigger selection but we still thought The View Hotel had better quality. The beds were comfortable and the only thing I found lacking was the pillows. Bring your own if you want a softer one. I used our down jackets and stuffed them in a pillowcase which sufficed. We went on an incredible cultural tour with Navaho Spirit Tours. They take you places that you are not allowed on the 17 mile self drive in the valley. But the self drive was fabulous also. The rooms all have a balcony to watch the sunrise each morning. If you expect The Four Seasons, I don't know where you could stay in Monument Valley. Enough Said.
