To be very honest and transparent, Seatiki is a lovely place to stay but it is not a ‘Resort’. It is rather a budget hotel that boasts a quiet space for all guests (should there not be loud children around). Rooms: The rooms are spacious and relatively clean if you don’t look too closely at the corners of rooms. The bed linen is cleaned every few days, however some linen could be stained which I would suggest is behind some of the reviews around dirty sheets. The friendly staff will leave beautiful decorative flowers from the garden on your bed and throughout your room which will inevitably attract ants due to the fresh nature of the flowers. However it is not the staffs intentions for ants to go onto your bed it is a kind gesture of picking nice flowers from the garden and placing them in your room. For extended stays the staff will come to your room and mop the floor and tidy up. Staff: The staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming and are grateful to have you stay. They will go above and beyond if required and this is certainly a great quality to have for hotel staff. The staff appear to pride themselves for working at Seatiki and do their best. Pool: The pool is in the centre and is a gotgeous outdoor space to lounge by the pool (Chairs aren’t comfortable). Though we did not use the pool during our stay it appeared to be clean and well maintained. Wifi: The resort advertises wifi available however it is not offered in rooms, only in the reception area. Food & Drinks: The breakfast included is very simple, think continental, toast, weetbix, juice, tea and coffee. You can order other items such as simple omelettes. The bar has very limited products (Fiji Beer and Cruisers and maybe a few others). Taxi/Tours: ‘Mr Chips’ (Sunny) is a lovely Fijian/Indian man who can provide airport transfers by request (additional cost) and great tours to nearby attractions such as waterfalls, snorkelling and more. We used Mr Chips for local trips and for a private day tour to Biausevu Village and waterfall and would highly recommend Mr Chips for his tours. Our review to the hotel would be that Seatiki has a lovely ambience and very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms could be considered as a little overpriced given the cleanliness and quality of resort facilities and room ammenities and the location of the resort relative to town and other nearby attractions. However the coral coast is a very popular area for Fiji. Improvements to the cleanliness of rooms, supply of food and drinks could significantly improve the resort quality and attraction for guests. Our review for other travellers/interested travellers would be to know that Seatiki is located a drive away from the nearby town and any shops etc. It is more of a budget resort that has a quiet atmosphere and is very much running on ‘island time’. If you’re not high maintenance and you are likely to be coming and going, Seatiki is the place to stay so long as you can deal with a smelly
